Not exactly news, but I just noticed this.

Remember how Bourdry said the use of the AICAR drug was clear from how frighteningly thin some riders were at the Tour?

Anyone seen Tim de Waele's pic of the riders at the top of the Ventoux? Look at their legs. Jesus.

The UCI have received the application for a Pro Continental license from a new spanish team to be formed for next season with a budget of 1.5 to 2 million and a squad of 13 to 16 riders.

More details to follow in the next two weeks, depending on whether the UCI agrees to provide a Pro Continental license on November 15th.

The team has also applied to be a part of the biological passport.

The thin legs discussion, photos are misleading

I stood next to those guys, and they have 5 times my legs, now THOSE are thin. This is nothing.

All charges against Keisse dropped by the Belgian cycling federation.

Not enough evidence that he knowingly took the banned substance.

Maybe, but the team will be based in the Mediterranean coast, and I'm sure that Alonso would base his team in Asturias.
