Yesterday I got my 3rd job offer for a pro tour team next year and I'm having problems with what team I should chose. I have spent a lot of time thinking about it and as soon as I decide a team I start to think about the other ones. I mean, all of them is top teams and have some really good riders to work with. Lampre with Cunego, Ballan and Bennati for example. Quickstep has the two super riders Tom Boonen and Paolo "il grillo" Bettini. Meanwhile Disco has so many good riders that it's hard to name them. Among others, Liepheimer, Contador and Popovych.

I think Lampre would be good i havent seen too many stories with them, and they dont have to many doping problems |

i would say Lampre as you have a man for cobbles, hilly classics, GT's and sprints whereas Quickstep only have Tornado Tom and Il Grillo
Disco would be my second choice, but there are quite a few stories about them, so to sum up i choose Lampre

Im both a Vaitkus and a Bennati fanboy...difficult, just Disco or Lampre doesnt matter to me

After some help deciding I signed with Lampre-Fondital a few weeks ago. It feels like the right decision, I like there squad and will be nice to see how it develops. My job starts with a meeting the 3rd where I will see the squad, after that it's the team presentation where you are welcome to ask questions. Just write them in the topic.

4th of January 2007
I met the team yesterday and they seemed fairly positive to me as a team manager. We discussed the coming season and who that wants to particiapate in what race. It was a bit complicated when it came to the tour and the giro, but otherwise it went very well. Earlier today we had our Team presentation.
