I added a new rider to database (well, modified existing one actually). His age is 24 years, but he don't appear in young riders classifications in any race. What should I do to make it vice versa?

Just a guess: Did you alter his age and his birth date? |

adding riders to the db often don't work (personal experience). I only seem to get decent results if i use SQL. you could start a game & on day 1 add a rider to the savegame.
this works most of the time.

pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

Adding a rider doesn't work? Have you gone mad, Stijn? |

1) Yes im mad : always have been
2) sometimes adding a rider straight to the core db tends fail from time to time.
or it could just be me (and that could just be very likely)

aren't youth riders awarded an alternate code somewhere in DYN_Cyclist? (just a wild guess)

I stumbled upon this thread when I also noticed that several youth riders were not included in youth competitions. The problem seems to be that gene_i_age doesn't correspond with the birthdate in Dyn_Cyclist (gene_i_birth_***) for many youths. I checked my current database and most young riders have a wrong combination of birthdate and age. In total there were actually 1689 riders with the wrong combination of age and birthdate (I am in sixth season of my career)!!! In fact I could only find 11 riders that were generated as youths that had the correct age birth combination. I thought it might be related to the yaer turned pro, but could not find any logic there either. Am I missing something here, or is this an important error?

Any chance that you're using a historical DB? |

Nope, I'm (still) using the PCMDaily 2009 DB...
