With 153 teams and 775 races/stages, the PPDB Giant v2 for PCM2009 has been released today.
This first serious version of the 2009 version out of our famous series of huge databases, brings you not only a huge amount of extra international races and teams. This one also focuses on Dutch, Belgian and Asian small teams, giving them a nice calendar as well to play in career-mode.
There will some minor graphics still missing (few minishirts, logo's etc), but we choose to release the Giant now and to improve it later.
The package is split up in two parts, because it went over 600Mb.
https://www.filefr...M2009.rar/ (135 Mb)
https://www.filefr...009-b.rar/ (499 Mb)
a fix :
taking care of some missing/wrong linked stages that cause crashes.
also includes an updated database with some minor corrections
https://www.filefr...Fixes.rar/
final fixes:
https://www.filefr...xes-2.rar/ (63 Mb)
takes care of a bug in Mallorca and Boucles Artois, also adds tons of riderspictures that failed to make it to the basic packages, as well contains some stage-files on special request.
The missing mini-jerseys and logo's:
https://www.filefr...xes-3.rar/
as well as two slightly corrected stages, a new classification file and some revised jerseys.
all works for excisting careers
And then after we found quite some teams missing their jerseys due to an installation error when building the package.
here they are:
https://www.filefr...rseys.rar/
Download all packages to make it work and extract them, the folders can be extracted straight into the game or to some custom-folder from where you can drag them into your PCM-folder. Note: under "My documents" you find the local.cdb and the ppdb.cdb (subfolder "database". These go into Your Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2009/

As far as I'm aware, they use the same equipment files as in the next PCM.daily DB (or vice-versa). |

Looking at it quickly, it seems about half the teams have real equipment, yes

The ones that are in as free agents are the not yet suspended ones (Astarloza, Landaluze, Di Luca, etc.)

You need the stage's .xml file that's missing in the package. It was a problem already in the test versions

yes.
The file can be found in the daily package, so if you have the daily package somewhere, take it from there
