Brad Wiggins lays into TV chef James Martin
facmanpob
TV Chef and all-round loser James Martin has been hammered by, amongst others, Bradley Wiggins, after an article in the Mail Online, in which he jokes about dangerous driving and causing cyclists to crash....

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mosli...rrari.html

"God, I hate those cyclists. Every last herbal tea-drinking, Harriet Harman-voting one of them. That’s one of the reasons I live in the countryside, where birds tweet, horses roam, pigs grunt and Lycra-clad buttocks are miles away. . . .

“Twenty minutes into my test drive I pulled round a leafy bend, enjoying the birdsong - and spotted those damned Spider-Man cyclists. Knowing they wouldn’t hear me coming, I stepped on the gas, waited until the split second before I overtook them, then gave them an almighty blast on the horn at the exact same time I passed them at speed.

“The look of sheer terror as they tottered into the hedge was the best thing I’ve ever seen in my rear-view mirror. I think this could be the car for me"

Bradley posted on Twitter:

"James Martin TV chef, The word cock springs to mind, stick to Ready Steady Twat mate"

Its interesting that the Mail Online has censored all of the comments - when I looked at the page yesterday there had been 14 negative comments left - now there are none!

There is a facebook page dedicated to this

I think he better not be on foot when a group of cyclists passes him.

He is doing some show tomorrow in England so i hope some cyclists rock up in their "spiderman outfits", let down his tyres and then beat the crap out of him.

[edit] Biography
Martin was brought up on a farm and has managed to retain the manners, ability and sexual appetites of the lowest of farm animals. He drives large fast cars to compensate for rather small sex organs and takes out his frustration at his lack of prowess in any field on cyclists.
[edit] Television career
He first started to appear on television in 1996 with various programmes including "James Martin: Yorkshire's Finest" (set in various Yorkshire locations with an emphasis on Yorkshire cuisine) but came to wider public attention on the BBC 2 programme Ready Steady Cook. In 2005 Martin was partnered with Camilla Dallerup in Strictly Come Dancing, a celebrity ballroom dancing TV show, coming fourth.
Martin co-presented BBC Food's "Stately Suppers" with Alistair Appleton, and then appeared on the Channel 4 programme Richard & Judy, where he would visit a member of the public in their own home who had been nominated to be cooked a 'comfort food' meal. He is now the presenter of the new version of the BBC 1 show Saturday Kitchen, which is being made by Cactus TV, the company behind the "Richard & Judy" show.
In 2007 he starred in a BBC 2 series named Sweet Baby James (named in reference to the James Taylor song) in which he focused on desserts, puddings and cakes while visiting places from his culinary past that have inspired his recipes. Upcoming chef Will Torrent appeared as his assistant.
Martin appeared on Blue Peter in April 2007 on Can You Cook It? being a celebrity judge choosing the new Blue Peter "Junior Chef", who was Luke Da'Bell. This decision angered Martin, who felt the need to puke on his cock on primetime TV. He was subsequently banned by Blue Peter.
In June and July 2007, he appeared co-hosting the 12 Yard series The Great British Village Show on BBC 1. He finished off the year with a series on UKTV Food called James Martin's Christmas Feasts.
He filmed a 30 part series for the BBC in 2007 called Eating with the Enemy which was held back for a year before finally being broadcast in July and August 2008.
James Martin holds the world record for carrot chopping in which he 'peeled and chopped 515g of carrots' in one minute, during a Ready Steady Cook Children in Need Special. Rumours continue that he'd sought out the help of Uri Geller in preparing his carrots.
[edit] Product range

A Cuisina by James Martin hob
In 2008, Martin released the Cuisina by James Martin range of appliances that he personally helped to design[1]. The range was launched by Premium Appliance Brands[1] having been designed with the aid of Bigblue Product Design.
In 2003, Martin released the Stellar James Martin range of cookware that he designed and styled in collaboration with Stellar.
[edit] Personal life
Martin has a passion for performance cars[1] which led to him entering a vintage Maserati in the 2008 Mille Miglia[2]. This was televised on 28 December 2008. He failed to complete the race and got in a big sulk, which made the whole programme a bit of a damp squib, particularly as it was broadcast in a primetime slot over the Christmas period.
On 12 September 2009 Martin angered many when he admitted in an article in the UK newspaper the Daily Mail, that he deliberately drove a Tesla Roadster in a potentially dangerous manner and caused two cyclists a 'look of sheer terror as they tottered into the hedge'.[3]
Rumours of his alleged celebrity are greatly exaggerated.

I sent in a comment regarding the article to the Mail, and I'd presume they got a fair bit of "hate Mail", (or should that be "Hate The Mail"Wink from many angry cyclists.
