Last stage over the tour and unless something unexpected comes up Danielson will take the overall win, even though he has just one second advantage over Henao Montoya. With only one short climb on the route, the stage is made for the sprinters and we should see M&M back in action with their train made by Lorenzetto, Nazon and Vaitkus, but other sprinters like Eisel, Dall'Antonia or Richeze could also have something to say
There was no breakaway made when the the race reached the only climb of the day so the riders from the pack that were intersted for the KoM points went away. Eastman was the first at the summit
Beccera and Ochoa Quintero took the other podium spots. Still nothing can be changed at the top of the KoM rankings and Gastauer is the winner of the polka dot jersey
They were all brought back on the pack on the downhill and a few moments later 3 BMC riders went away for the points jersey at the intermediate sprint: Donald, Jacques - Maynes and Brandt. Obviously Jacques - Maynes was first there as he was the only one that really needed the points but still he has to take a good spot at the end of the stage if he wants to take the green jersey away from Danielson
Surprisly there was no real breakaway today and for almost the entire stage all the riders stayed together in the pack. Kunitski is leading them now to the final 7 km of the stage and of the tour as well
Inside the last 5 kilometres the preparations are being made and Donald seems to have made a gap there
Wii and M&M are well represented at the front of the pack but they couldn't stop Donald getting away there
2 km to go Donald has 10 seconds advantage over the pack as Becerra, Wii's climber, is leading the pack, while Lorenzetto has troubles putting Vaitkus in a better position
Donald is the first rider to enter the last kilometre and the pack is really close. It will be hard to hang on. M&M aren't in a good position in the pack as Kenda came there to take their place with Lowik and Van Katwijk
500 metres left and Donald is caught. There still one M&M rider there behind the Kenda riders and it's Nazon! Becerra is doing the best sprint of his life as he is still in a very good position
Donald is still trying to hang on as none of the sprints seems to be in a good mood today
Finally Nazon made his move from Lowik's wheel to take the lead and Donald was gone
This was really a close sprint. Dall'Antonia is coming really fast on the other side of the road but it looks like Nazon made enough to take the stage win here
And Cyanide's newspaper had a nice picture with Nazon taking the stage in front of no more than 3 Kenda riders!
