Looks like I'm going to be way off in the TTT and with Mestre being by best shot at a decent GC guy, I'm not counting on a whole lot of succes here.
Hopefully we can pull off some kind off surprise (make it happen rjc )

I have an awfull TTT team here, so Castaño will have to do it himself. Hopefully he can finish a bit higher than the rankings want him to. 3rd and a stagewin would be awesome, but it will be difficult with Andy here... |

I actually have a good line-up for this race. I expect a good result here. Podium perhaps.

Wow my team did 7th in a TTT. I thought we could only climb
Well after all it wasn't that good since we were one of the favourites..
Anyway I hope the boys can succeed given the fact that there is a GT goin on and the nr of favourites isnt that high

Nice start considering that only Elijzen and Fothen can TT decently enough.
KUGW boys (and rjc_43 )

Only 30 seconds lost. Shouldn't mean anything... I still need Castaño to attack in order to reach podium, and if he wins a stage he is right up there again. |

11th was a lot better than I'd expected. I hope they will keep surprising me throughout.
Top 20 for Mestre is the goal here, although that'll be hard. A stage win along the way wouldn't be bad either and maybe Vanoverschelde can take it. I usually don't have anybody for the sprints, but he could just go head and do something here.

I hate the fact that Duarte isn't recognized as a team leader due to his sucky TT stat
Oh well, hopefully he can make the game change its mind |

Pecharroman is an overall much better rider isn't he? |

Not in a race like this
Edit: Not in any race, actually. Having checked the stats, I don't see any reason why Pecharroman should be considered the leader. Duarte has a better time trial stat, better MO stat, better STA and REC-stat, equal RES-stat. Makes no sense.

Hmm indeed it does not... Perhaps the hilly stat is more important that one might think.. |

That'd be the only reason. I guess it depends on the STA_type_tour value in STA_race, but I can't really be bothered to check what it is for Catalunya
Edit: I could be bothered to check. It's set to "Grand Tour" like the other PT races - so I guess we're dealing with some cya logic here

Right, but with 2 hilly stages and 2 hilly/flat stages Pecharroman might be the logic solution though... |

Pecharroman was "recognized" as your leader at P-N if I remember too. |
