And that's another stage win for Froome. Gaining more on Herrada would've been great, but this is good already

Thanks Croatia! The voice report are a great feature, listened to stage 7 report and will listen to the other ones later.
Stage 18 of the Tour is also now posted. This stage finished on the Alpe d'Huez so a video is of course included.

Contador with a very strong race. His team mates are performing subpar though which is concerning. Definitely expected more from Engeldinger.

Not sure why Froome was waiting for Contador, quite a nice gesture but not what I like to see...

Two solid days for Liberty Seguros and Herrada. Securing Herrada's first podium has to be the goal as Froome looks to be a fair level above Herrada and TVG is increasingly gaining momentum. It's unlikely that Froome can be hold at bay on all of the followings stages. With little feature in the breakaways and Herrada a level below the two top tiers, I don't think we will get a stage win out of this. Regardless of this, I would be very happy with 2nd or 3rd on the podium, since the win is out of the question by now sadly.
Herrada is doing really well representing us, exactly what I anticipated. Surely he is not matching his mentor Contador but well who is really except for Froome. Contador is riding a really fine Tour de France too. Very in control, and he is reminding me a bit of his Vuelta performance last year but a step below his killer performances in the TdF 2016 (back then in the jersey of World Champion) and the 2014 Giro. I have to admit it's sad for me to see Contador about to get the TdF win in a jersey that's not mine but that's also part of the game.
Also gratz to WWE. Wildcard teams are definitley rocking this Tour de France. Great showing by you guys. Hope that Cymru also gets a win. Allez Schleck!
Two goods mountain stages left. Can't wait.

Need a big couple of stages to get a decent amount of points here

Well done to WWE winning a TdF stage.
Thanks for the audio reports, croatia, they were very entertaining. I overlayed the stage profiles to make them easier to follow.
Poels won the queen stage, but Duarte will win overall. A little sad to see so little competition here, riders trickling over the line one by one with big time gaps.

I think this Tour was super sprinter friendly and fairly the limit.

Congrats to Duarte, who was clearly the best rider here. He distanced Poels again handily on stage 10 and even sprinted onto the podium on the final flat stage. Some teams should be kicking themselves for not even attending, missing out on lots of points. If Orangina didn't have the U23 ranking in the bag already, this will have done the trick with three riders in the top 11! Bosch with another nice haul, I remember being unimpressed with Auer as their 2nd best rider, but he finishes on the podium and wins the U25 rankings. ICBC must be a bit unhappy, Choi should have made the top 5 but ends 10th.

A very long video for crazy stage 19: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPxQu...PxQujY84ok
Result: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1283514
Spoiler Contador loosing time, is there still something possible?
Great stage by Ospina and Rosa, who really lighted up the race from the start on when they first attacked together. From my point of view unfortunate that Ospina won the stage and Rosa only got 5th. Very weird that him and Coppel waited for Froome and Herrada in the last 5km. |

Oh yes, deja vu from last year's Tour de Suisse with Ospina in a day-long solo/two-man winning the stage and salvaging some GC hopes - except today on the biggest stage <3 Amazing victory
Now to keep up the late surge and beat whoever we can tomorrow - only Uran within regular gap distance, but who knows?

Grande Herrada, fantastic performance. Alongside the Froomster he made for a welcome alliance and put in some late time into Contador. The video really had me on the edge of my seat whilst watching De Ronde on TV. The gap to Contador is still fairly large but another opportunistic move and an off-day by Contador and his team, and all is possible for Herrada as well as Froome. The later is probably, his crashes aside, by now the strongest rider in the race, seems like late payback for 2016.
