Good day from Bowden to get some intermediate sprints and get the team some more funds Wink

sutty68
Ian Butler - That was the only thing about today's stage Frown

PCM rulezz
Good to see a TT1-rider in the break Wink
Winners never quit, quitters never win.

It's difficult not to be happy when you're surrounded by Belgians. - Mark Cavendish

Ain't that the truth! Wink

Once I finish my season with coca cola, I'm gonna start as Qatar Optics (thanks to Mr Ufo and Tmr) where it will be a huge achievement just to get in to the break Grin (The squad will be mainly Qatari).

Also, shock Shock , an American will probably win the Tour of California!

wroblitz
Looks like California isn't very friendly ground for your team.

Sad for Laengen.

Bowden did very nicely in this stage. How close is he to the KOM jersey?

Jakstar22
That wasn't a bad stage with a top 20

sutty68
The Rider - Yeah, Danielson is looking strong Smile

wroblitz - Agree with you on that Sad

krisa 0 Something different for a change Wink

Miguel98 - He is still our best placed rider though Frown

alex344 - He is 3rd place 9pts behind Tvetcov Wink

Jakstar22 - I was happy for Laengen but a pity about the time gaps though Wink

THE RACE

i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc489/sutty68/STORY%20SYMBOLS/TOGO-100KM.jpg

A front group of twelve riders has established itself away from the peleton and built up a lead of 1m 53s, in this group are Van Dijk/Jamis Sutter Home, Anthony/Team Optum, Bookwalter/BMC Racing, Rabou/Competitive Cyclist, Sealander/Spidertech, English/Kenda 5 Hour Energy, Alzate/Team Exergy, Jones/Bissell Pro Cycling, De Jongh/Jelly Belly, Thomson/UnitedHealthcare and our two guys Preidler and Bowden. Bowden is here simply looking for Mountain points as he lies third in that competition at the moment

Van Dijk/Jamis Sutter Home and Thomson/UnitedHealthcare are trying to put some daylight between themselves and the rest of the breakaways and were soon joined by Rabou/Competitive Cyclist and Anthony/Team Optum and have opened up a small advantage of 38s

Andy Schleck and Chris Horner both of Radioshack-Nissan have broken clear of the pack and have forced Danielson/Garmin Sharp to go with them and lose all his team mates
