Shocking move by Fuglsang, really. In an interview not long ago, he stated that he would rather sign a team and get a GT role, rather than take whatever gives the most money, and then he sign Astana? So dissapointing. I'm not a fan of the move either, but according to Ekstra Bladet he will get his chance to lead in Tour de France or the Vuelta.
Its been made clear that Nibali will target the Giro
Fuglsang will get to choose either the TDF or Vuelta to lead
I assume they will shar the other, or leave it to Brakjovic if he stays (or Vino if he doesnt retire )

I still have my doubts, and honestly, I wouldn't trust Astana. We also know, that they could end up signing Froome.

Guardini was rumoured for quite some time.
Astana will be a very strong squad next year and might fight some mountain battles with Sky next season.
I would have preferred that the riders go all to different teams, then it would have been better to watch if riders have less helpers and need to do more on their own. Now we can expect that Sky and maybe even Astana always can send 2-3 guys for a possible top5 in hard races. |

Guardini it's a very good signing, he will tem up with Guarnieri and will make a nice duo. Fugslang it's a strange move but that means that Kreuziger will leave or the will have 4 captains for the GT, even if Brako could win a GT only if the other big names aren't there. Astana will sign Froome, it will too complicated to manage all these captains all together. With this move let's hope Liqui will sign Kreuziger!!!! |

No. He's smart. I'd much rather win the Giro, than get a Top 10 at the Tour. Cycling would be better if more people dis this actually.

Fuglsang will probably go for the Vuelta. He will be able to get a better result there.

Indeed he will. I don't even think, that he would have a chance to get a top 10 in the Tour. I mean, with all the greatest starts back, there wouldn't be many possibilities getting to the GC's top 10. And in the Vuelta, he'll have a good chance of getting to the GC's top 5. imo |

I think that if Ben Swift will make a good vuelta, Boasson Hagen should leave sky for a team dedicated to him in sprints and classics. |

If Cavendish decides to leave Team Sky then i am sure Swifty and Boasson Hagen will become better riders for it |

Vegard Stake Laengen will have to find himself a new team, since TT1 now ONLY wants type 1 diabetical riders. And Laengen is obviously not a diabetic.

To be fair, if they are aiming for Cavendish then they simply won't be able to pay any GC riders to go there. Hence Fuglsang would be better off anywhere else.

Of course, but i don't think that Cav is gonna decide to leave sky because it's the best team, and even if he goes to QPQS, there isn't a good lead-out rider and there are some good sprinters like Boonen, Ciolek and Chichi. |

Your classic thing doesn't work out as EBH was the leader at Paris-Roubaix and failed. He had a bad day, but it's nothing do to with Sky - as they helped him.
When Cav leaves EBH will be sprinter No.1 again And EBH will not leave until 2014, so no point even thinking about it
