Brajkovic has complained about not being in the Tour squad. Didn't prevent him from prolonging his contract the last time, though. |

No of course there are other races than the tour, but there must be a reason he hasn't been chosen.
But maybe the more careful approach to GC's will work out for Jani, as we have seen with it isn't always good to ride the Tour from a early age. Just look at Thomas Løvkvist... |

not really, he would get more money in Katusha and Sky. In team sky he would be the absolute leader. I don´t know what Lance told him that he decided for to stay with him. Jani said that he would not prefer to race for an eastern europe team, but only he knows why.

Did he say he had offers from Sky and Katusha? I doubt Sky would have offered anyone from Astana a contract...

yes he did. I read it on a slovenian internet page
"kljub boljÅ¡im finančnim ponudbam zavrnil KatjuÅ¡o, Rabobank in Sky."
despite of better contract offers he rejected Katusha, Rabobank and Sky.

He should help Armstrong to win the tour next year. In other races he should have free hand. He "will" be allowed to decide where he is gonna race.
"So far I have in mind a few one-week races, some classics and Giro or Vuelta. My main objective in the next four years will be to finnish one Grand Tour on the Podium"
In Team Sky "I could show my full potential there, i would be probably the capatain." But they are still building their team and he wanted a decision now.
"If you look through all the money, it would be best to join the Katyusha. But this is a team from the East, and in Astana, I have seen how these teams operate"-whatever should it mean.
This is pretty everything thats important in the interview. Sorry for bad english

You sure about that? I would highly doubt it.

I really do it. he is highly underrated I think. We could see it in the giro where he had to stay on armstrongs side the whole race. When Lance looked pretty bad( Ithink stage 8 was it) he smiled in the camera and it looked pretty easy for him.
I don´t really know whom Sky already signed. Boasson Hagen?

Well, Team Sky hasn't really signed any other 'absolute leaders' (for GTs). Lövkvist, perhaps, but I'd say that Brajkovic is c. on the same level as Lövkvist. |

I believe that Lövkvist is clean, or at least he don´t dopes that much like many others. He is the new Moncoutie or Voigt-for one week Races.

Løvkvist showed he was promising in the Giro, but he always cracks completely in the Grand Tours. |

They signed a Rabobank rider when it's becoming increasingly obvious what Rabobank was is up to after Kohl and others' revelations.
He signed a Liquigas and a Saxo Bank rider strongly rumoured by decent sources to have extremely suspicious blood values for the use of CERA
More damningly, they signed a bunch of riders from a team directed by Claudio Corti.
They can bandy all they want about "high standards", but those standards are really just "don't sign any convicted dopers".

Just because a rider says they got an offer from a team, certainly doesn't mean I believe them. In fact many riders have tried to say that they have had offers from Sky this season, whilst in many cases they went to Sky and asked for lots of money, and Sky turned around and said, "erm, no."
So forgive me for being a doubting thomas.

I only referred to riders Sky has confirmed as signings.
