you didnt expect anything else did you?
Well, no I expected it to be France vs GB, yes
I still think France will upset us though Hopefully they don't as we deserve it more, because we aren't French

So basically anyone who's actually any good on the road were eliminated.
That says something about specialization
Thats a bit harsh on Wiggins
I feel justified in saying he's not any good on the road when he doesn't do anything and most of all doesn't try to do anything. I would however accept if you mentioned Dyudya, since he at least works very hard for his team's sprinters and is ukrainian national champion.
In what was probably his most recent race on the road, the Giro, he was a part of the Cavendish lead out in the Sprinters stages there. He was at the front visibly inside the last few kilometres before pulling off. Sure, he hasnt done much else this year but thats because he has been so focused on the Olympics - he had a good 2007 on the road tho,

Romero is slightly injured
But I'm still confident she can do well

Romero is against a woman who's PB is better than Romero's which isn't a good draw...Still, we can hope for the best

Just after 12 British time

The real danger is Sarah Hammer, who goes against Houvenagel. Romero beat Hammer in the 2008 Worlds Final - it was the other way round in 2007. Mactier has taken the Bronze for the past 2 worlds, with Houvenagel 4th both times

I remember Hammer now, just seeing her style on the bike. Yes, she is very good, she's just got an awful style
EDIT: Wendy's ahead at the 2km mark, miles ahead
EDIT2: she's in awesome form

Wow, unbelievable time from Houvenagel!! It was really tight early on but then Houvenagel just pulled away from Hammer completely.

Lets see if Romero is as in form as Wendy (I won't even try spelling Houvenhagel every time)
EDIT: Romero is finally ahead, Mactier started way too fast.
EDIT2: Romero's faster than Wendy
