Well, Vasseur deserved it and was by far the smartest (let everyone else close the gaps to save energy)

one thing is letting others close the gaps. another thing is not taking a single relay for the last 60km. vastly different.

weren't people talking about Valverde taking advantage of other people's work for undeserved wins?
seems like two weights and two measures to me...

well only saw the last 10 kms but if that is true then it's not so deserved but still it's his last year so I didnt bother seeing him win

Yes, that's why I wanted Voigt to win - he did all the work, whilst Vasseur was lazy and just sat back

Voigt deserved to win, but on the other hand, he didn't pkay his cards that intelligent. He took some really hard and long relays on the last climb, and in general, he relayed more than anyone else in the group. He should have been a lot more cool. Not "Vasseur"-cool, but ...

Actually, I read that even before Le Tour, the German Eurosport had c. 30 % more TdF viewers compared to last year. They say that it's because the other channels talk so much about doping that the viewers get tired and go to Eurosport which focuses on the sport

Astana setting a murderous pace to create a bourdure. they've been successful, lots of people behind. don't know if any GC guys are behind, though.

Discovery and CSC, Barloworld and Caisse are now helping the bordure.

Vino himself takes relays to do it!!!

EDIT: Zabel + Hushovd are among those left behind!

it's over for Moreau. no way he's going to rejoin.

I don't really like Astana, but taking advantage of Moreau being assisted by the medical car to create a split just really pisses me off!

CrueTrue
He wasn't being assisted when they started relaying, was he?

There's a larger peloton behind the Moreau group, it seems.
