Not much of a surprise this, they are very close and from what I have heard locally is that Lachlan has had issues outside cycling dogging him for a little while now. Still plenty of time for Lachlan to get his stuff sorted and fulfil his huge potential. Wish him and Gus all the best

I'm kinda sad for Lachlan. Ever since he finished a solid top10 in Tour de Langkawi at the age of 19, I saw a future GT podium finisher for Garmin in him. I'm sad it didn't work out. He is an awesome talent. I hope he can take his career to the right route once again.
Offredo would be a nice addition for Slipstream Sports team. They lack a bit of flattish classics depth. |

They would have had more of that depth with Farrar than Offredo.

They would have had more of that depth with Offredo than without him. Farrar is gone and time to move on. |

Offredo to leave FDJ.fr. Interested teams according to l'Equipe are Garmin - Cannondale and MTN - Qhubeka.
Larsson to leave IAM. No new team found yet.
Offredo will be great at Garmin - Cannondale!
One of my favourite riders, and after Sagan's goodbye will be a great pick.
FDJ seem to be shedding big name riders first Bouhanni and now Offredo, if he goes all they've got is Ladagnous for the classics.
Offredo somehow has a very overrated reputation. Yes, he's a good rider, but over past 2 years his best result is what, 16th at MSR and Ronde, not much else other than that. He's definitely a good rider, but not a big name at all and definitely not a big loss to FDJ.
Bouhanni, well they had no choice. It really had to be either Demare or him.
Not completely true.
He is a solid rider for all the classics and yeah, this 2 years he wasn't the best Offredo, but still he can ride cobbles, hills and he can sprint very very well, so if he returns the Offredo of a time then it will be amazing. |

Offredo is more versatile and a change of squads could help him find that form from a few seasons ago, also adds depth and can make a good domestique. Obvioisly you like Farrar but nothing is stopping you supporting him wherever he ends up, also after 8 years in that set up he needed the change, it should help him rediscover that hunger

Will try to translate as good as possible :
Danish cycling news site Feltet ( The Peleton ) have put down a list of possible transfers for Cult :
Mads Würtz won't extend his contract at the team btw.
https://feltet.dk/...ng_i_2015/
Here is the article
There bid on who will join :
Sebastian Lander (BMC) - It's almost to obvious to miss. Lander won't get his contract extended for next season and he knows the team pretty well. Lander will get other contract offers, but we're convinced that this is the best fit.
Andy Schleck ( Trek ) : Yes, just laugh. It is perhaps a long shot, but if ( they did ) they sign with an Luxembourg sponsor, then there is not much to make this impossible. Schleck will be the man to get wildcards for crucial WT races. If he doesn't extend with Trek, which it apparently seem not to happen, then it would be a offer they can't afford not to send.
Rasmus Guldhammer : He is atm on trial on Tinkoff - Saxo, which does have one spot left in the roster, according to it's Directeur sportif Stefano Feltrin. The question to be asked is ofc. if will go to him, or if the russian team will pick another rider. Cult will with no doubt give him a contract if they don't.
Rasmus Quaade - There is focus on this Dane at the moment. He should drive himself into a professional contract with another good time trial later on the month at the World Championships. He has evolved greatly on the road, and will add so much to both the individual, but also the team time trials. He will be able to win championships in ITT and small stage races, with a TT and Flat finishes.
Kristian Haugaard ( Development team Giant Shimano ) - He currently drives for Giant Shimanos development team, where it was expected, that he was going on trial on the main team. However he didn't , that spot was taken by Fredrik Ludvigsson, at that can't please him very much. There fore it would be obvious for him to switch team and Cult seems like a good match. He also lives in Luxembourg on his 2nd year.
Gustav Larsson - Routine , high pace and free on the market. He is swedish and he will fit the culture of the team
Frederik Kessiakoff - A man for the GC. It looks like he will leave Astana, which has been busy on getting new signings. If he succeeds in finding his former level, he can drive along the best up hill.
Other possible transfers :
Lars Bak
Vegard Staeke Langen
Kristoffer Skerping
Oskar Svendsen
Asbjorn Andersen
Jonas Aaen
Jerome Coppel - ??

A dodgy talent going to a dodgy team makes sense I guess.
Miguel Angel Lopez signs a two year deal with Astana.

VDB might have to leave LTB. The board feels his results don't match his salary and they question his participation in next year's TDF. (That is if he stays of course.)

Just been to Sheffield yesterday couple of pieces of information regarding British riders Kennaugh to OPQS seems to be off for now couldn't agree a contract, Blythe has 3 offers one is Cult Energy and one was United Healthcare both are unlikely though as he prefers a 3rd which i wasn't told.
Then funnily enough Sky have given up trying to sign Betancur after 2 years of trying to sign him due him going AWOL this season and have turned there attention to Roche, (I think everyone knows this one anyway) |

MTN is very close to signing Serge Pauwels, who didn't get a renewal at OPQS. |

Who would guess that such a "little" CT team this and previous seasons would fight for such a great and big names (at least for PCT) for next season. Great job by sponsors, management and by whole team.

You mean Andy and Linus? Great and big names they have been in the past..
But they suck now I mean Linus wasn't even offered an extension by MTN, that's how shite he was.

Cult Energy Pro Cycling is indeed a very good team. It is my favourite team, mainly because the team is focusing on talents, and they give all their riders a chance to succeed.
Michael Valgren (double u23 Liege-Bastogne-Liege winner) and Magnus Cort (Orica Green-Edge) are some of the riders the team has evolved, and they've currently got Mads Pedersen, 18 year old, 2nd in last years Junior World Championships (age 17), and 2nd in the overall junior ranks, only beaten by Mathieu van der Poel who took the lead after he won the Junior World Championships. Mads has one win this season, he won Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt u23 race. He will also participate in the u23 Road Race World Championships (age 18). I actually went to the same High School as Mads, but he dropped out on the 2nd year, and is now focusing 100% on cycling.
Cult Energy Pro Cycling has also got Michael Carbel, big talent as well, his main focus is sprints. Carbel actually finished 2nd in the Danish National Road Race Championships, only beaten by Valgren.

Ex-Tour winner is definitely a great and big name for a team that goes from CT to PCT. He maybe isn't in his 2010 form anymore and can't win TdF anymore, but he can definitely catch some continental wins for them. On another side, we do have Bak, Kesiakoff, Quaade, Larsson, Lander and Coppel who are all possible signings for this team. I mean, you can't expect them to sign Froome or something, so these names are indeed "big" in PCT World. But as this forum is and will forever be anti-Schleck, I can't do anything about it. Haters gonna hate.
