Don`t forget his foot hole.
Impressive enough that he is still in the race and even won the stage right afterwards.
Plus the sprinter field is okay here I guess with some known sprinters. Guardini might have lost a bit of his final punch recently. But then again he seems to be able to pass some speed bumps since then.
And Astana is not the best sprinter team neither.

Score one for the small folks! Grand Prix Saymn won by Roubaix - Lille Métropole in the bunch sprint with Maxime Vantomme.
Edit #1: Roubaix - Lille Métropole rather.

Awesome win for Vantomme.
I fail to comprehand how he couldn't get a PCT contract after his season last year, which only a win was missing, well he has now his win

Yeah, getting carried away by the commentary and late night . Still score one for the smaller teams, and the power of Orange

Decided to watch the last 90km instead of learning.
Was worth it even though I had hoped for the group to stay ahead.
The finish though was nice even though the biggest favourites couldn`t take it then. Vantomme with a nice win here. Strong sprint.
Spoiler
Also: Vantomme and Sbaragli. My Man Game team is already strong in pre season.

Guardini continues to combine ridiculous speed with the positioning sense of a bystander in a shootout.
Sprinted for 500m from 5 wheels back. Almost won.

It is so weird seeing Forster still leading a team.

I actually liked him a lot in those old days, when he won a stage in the Giro. He was rarely one of the best but had some success from time to time.
Plus he seems to be a very calm and nice guy, who surely is a good rider to have in any team. And he is still having a top3-10 from time to time.
