Ouch, a TT, forgot about it...

Will be very hard for Fränk to hold on to his Top 10 then, especially if I see the gaps already made in the TT.

VOLTA CICLISTA AL PAIS VASCO

STAGE 6

THE RACE - PART 2

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0037_zpsf50624e7.jpg

The top 10 has started their time-trial to see who will win. Some very strange thing must happen if that winner will be Haimar Zubeldia (RBM). He is 17 seconds behind current leader Tony Martin (FWB) at the split. At the finish line is the difference 35 seconds.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0038_zpsc1902279.jpg

The next one is Benat Intxausti (ABC). He was not the leader at his team, but he shows he can do great thing. He rides a decent first part, 18 seconds behind the World Time-Trial Champion. He will end 38 seconds behind him.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0039_zps7befea5b.jpg

Fränk Schleck (ING) is not a time-trialist, so he will loose time. He is 28 seconds behind at the split. He finishes 57 seconds behind the leader.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0040_zpsb71d11a8.jpg

The same story for Daniel Navarro (CCC). He looses a lot of time, 1:30 behind Martin at the finish.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0041_zps9173e422.jpg

Thomas Voeckler (ING) attacked a lot during this race, but he has some energy left. 25 seconds behind at the split and 51 seconds behind at the finish line.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0042_zpsc48efff3.jpg

Rui Costa (TAP) is seen as a pre-race favourite. And he shows that those who decide that weren't crazy. He finishes 34 seconds behind Martin, who is still leading.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0043_zps49cf40f2.jpg

We reached the top 4. Igor Anton (MAG)'s split time is not good (28 seconds behind). His finish time is 58 seconds behind the leader.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0044_zps847769a0.jpg

Samuel Sanchez (ABC) is third in the rankings and needs to gain 1 minute on the leader. He rides a great, very great first part, in the same time as Martin.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0045_zpsf2b8c196.jpg

Alberto Contador (AGT) only needs 49 seconds, so he will give everything. He is only 2 seconds behind at the split.

i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y433/Marcovdw/UCPCL/Volta%20Ciclista%20al%20Pais%20Vasco/Stage%206/PCM0046_zpsfc5fd9c0.jpg

That's not so good news for GC-leader Andy Schleck (ITV), who is not good in time-trialing. It can be seen at the split, because he's already 28 seconds behind Martin, who is still in the lead. Andy has to give everything in the seconds part, and he doesn't want to be disturbed. He throws out all his communication equipment and rides as fast as he can!

Here comes Andy Schleck (ITV) across the finish, not knowing what his main rivals Alberto Contador (AGT) and Samuel Sanchez (ABC) have done. He immediately runs to the jury table after the race, where the two Spaniards and Tony Martin (FWB) are also standing.

Andy Schleck: Did I win, did i win?
Organizers: Relax, Andy. we are busy calculating. You'll hear it soon. First of all, lets go to the stage classification. Congratulation Tony, you won today's stage.

Samuel Sanchez: I'm happy with that

TM: If you'd excuse me, I have some interviewers waiting for me. I'll see who wins.
Tony Martin leaves
OR: All right, lets continue.
AS: Come on, quick please.
OR: No, first we must have the winners of the minor classification.
Voice through speaker: Mister De Kort, Mister Izagirre, Mister Jaxika. Please report at the organizer's table.
AC: Yeah right, building up the pressure.
Gorka Izagirre: Mister Izagirre reports himself!
OR: All right, mister Izagirre..... Wait, you are Gorka?
GI: Yes. Something not right?
OR: I need your brother, Ion. Could you get him please?
GI: Allright.
Gorka Izagirre leaves
Koen de Kort: Here's mister De Kort.
OR: Congratulations, you are the winner of the mountain classification. You may prepare yourself for the podium ceremony.
KdK: Nah, it rather stay. I want to know who won.

Jaxika: I think I must be here. What can I do for you?
OR: Allianz-BMW is winner of the teams classification. Congratulations.
SS: YES! That's 2 prices for me!
JA: I'm honoured. If you'd excuse me, I'm going to tell the rest of the team.
Jaxika leaves

OR: Yes, I needed you. You are the winner of the youth classification. You may prepare yourself for the podium ceremony.
II: Nah, it rather stay. I want to know who won.

SS: Si, Alberto. ¡Detente! (Yes, Alberto. Stop!)
AS: [thinks]Where the hell are they talking about?[/thinks]
KdK: [thinks]I don't speak Spanish[/thinks]
OR: Let's go back to English please. I'm now going to announce the winner.
AC: Finally.
AS: It was about time.
OR: The winner, with a total time of 19 hours, 46 seconds and 53 seconds, 4 seconds in front of the number two is:
AS: WAIT, I haven't heard my stage time yet?
KdK: Does it matter?
