That's still an idea.
Shame. I was really getting into this. Well, I'm ordering a new desktop over the weekend (Not getting a laptop since I can get double the spec this way and I never really understood why I got a laptop in the first place. I don't go no-where!)
I guess when that arrives, I'll edit my rider into the database and do a story around him. Still, sucks that a whole section of players are basically being told to fuck off cos a few other people don't like it. |

I'd imagine that would only come after they have moved the server again and might even wait until they fix the little things like the twitter code.

They weren't pointless. They each told a different story.
And we have. There was no discussion prior. Just an announcement saying stop it. A ban on any future games until some better structure came in would ave been fine. To cut dead already running stories is totally wrong. |

Maybe not pointless, but they do clutter the story section to the detriment of other actual stories
There was no discussion yes, bit harsh i agree, but with a fair point and explanation, and a potential solution may have been reached.
Admittedly it does affect the PCMCL much more than it does other fantasy games. But its not cut dead yet.

I never had a problem following the stories that I follow. Most the time when I posted HQ stuff I had to go a few pages in past all the stories to find it. There would be a burst of HQ bumps after a race, but the point is, they are all stories.
I don't see how a story clutters a forum. How is me writing a report on how my rider did a PCMCL race any different to me writing a report on a race I've just run on my own computer.
So no, it wasnt a fair point and explaination. Its just a form of facism. |

It's a shame a few people that complain almost get this game killed. But we're asking for a new subforum, so everyone can be happy. Hope we get it soon
