Russia sets an olympic record with 43.681.
GB won four years ago with 43.128.
What am I missing? |

Fail ? The Brits beat the Olympic record. I'm not sure where that ranks the Germans, but that's hardly a fail. |

Just the qualification.. It's like a horse just jumping so high as it needs to and not giving 100% to blast every power just in the qualifying

you must be delighted, when the fast duo get disqualified. i know everyone seems to hate british cycling at the moment, but really, they are just going for gold like every other country are. so leave them alone |

Im not delighted, no reason to be, i have nothing against them, i dont hope they win but thats just because i like other teams or riders more. I would rather have that the other teams/riders beat GB in race instead of them being relegated and i do hope for GB in some disciplins, like for example 4000 meter i hope they beat Australia.
Great danish performance btw - best time right now.

surely after watching it, you could see britain were doing a time worthy of the final, and I presume you didn't notice their fault. Therefore, your reaction of means that you were happy there was a fault, so you wanted them to fault, and be disqualified. Therefore you want the team that is of final standard to be disqualified. I can appreciate you not wanting them to win, but wanting them to get disqualified is low |

Faster and faster we go, 42,991" for France now. New O.R.
Low air density caused by a relatively high temperature and low humidity are helping.
edit : wow, now the Brits have just beaten the W.R. 0,2 seconds faster than the French
