Rabobank won't fail in this Tour. If they will, heads will fall for the management |

Is that before Contador's win gets taken away or after?

I'd bet my money in Contador's win not being taken away. |

Obivously a top 3 result for rabobank is practically impossible.

Well, if Sky has in mind Top 3 for Wiggins, there's every chance Gesink can pull it off too Which I really doubt though. |

The contenders for the podium are just too numerous (even if contador gets removed)

Normally Samuel Sanchez will take 3rd spot, behind Andy and Bertie. But it's very hard to predict how everyone will do. Van Den Broeck, Gesink, Basso, Evans, Leipheimer, Klöden, Cunego, Wiggins all have a chance at podium. And there'll probably be some surprises as well.

Because they won't have the guts to take him away 2 TdF and a Giro. |

I don't think Contador will win the Tour, or even finish on the podium. The Giro-Tour double is too hard, even for him.

Contador really didn't have to work terribly hard in the Giro, but yes, I believe the parcours themselves are going to prevent him from winning the tour. Good, hopefully will be like the Dauphine last year where Jani was able to stick with him and beat him overall. |

I'm not a fan of Contador but i think he is stronger than last year ! Last year he had health problems (probably that was the reason he doped). But this year his performance at the Giro was really unbeatable. Even if the giro was really tough this year his recovery (doping yes or no???) is faster than by any ohter rider. For me it's just ridiculous that the decision about contadors positive test will not be made before the Tour. This is not a good sign for cycling
When he also win the Tour and then they decide to ban him from cycling and all the victorys will be canceled. We are all deceived !! |

After Andy and Contador I don't see many guys better than Gesink this year |

Basso and most probably Sanchez. Other guys like Schleck no. 2, Wiggins or Van den Broeck will be most probably the riders which will be his main rivals in this year's TdF. Top 5 is definetly possible for him, but the podium is highly unlikely.

Unlike last year, Gesink failed to impress me sofar. You can say that he is peaking towards the tdf. But last year he did the same (with better results in the Tds : 5th) and then he ended in six place. I think it will take another year before he really has a decent shot at the podium.
My biggest Contenders for the podium
- Contador
- A. Schleck
- Rodriguez (if he's riding even with his bad TT skills)
- Sanchez
- Basso
- Leipheimer
- Evans
All the rest (including my favourite JVDB) will have a decent shot at top 10. But as always the race still has to be ridden. And I'm rooting for Gesink (as a Flemish) and for JVDB.
