Nice climb, but I didn't understand Scarponi and Nibali... why doing the pace for Contador?
Its quite simple. Nibali and Scarponi arent racing Contador, theyre racing each other - and Anton.
Yes I know that answer and I guess you're right about their minds but it's just... you know what I mean, it's Giro, they're both Italian, for the first time since the start of Giro, there's an attack Contador isn't able to answer... I mean being second or third... nobody will remind it in five years, so at least try to attack him and become the one who isn't afraid of Contador...
Or they're both fan of Moreau way of life...
I dont understand how you can criticise them? They were both riding as well as they could. They couldnt do any more! The simple fact is that Contador is better than them.
Don't misunderstand me, I agree they ride really well, and for sure they suffered to get those positions, I don't talk about courage or strength, but about tactics.
Had they attacked him, there would have probably be a winner and a looser between Scarponi and Nibali. Riding this way, I only see two loosers (in the primary sense, for me they're both great champions). |

Great ride by Kruijswijk. He's now 14th in GC.
Dupont and Sivtsov keep surprising me.

There was a winner today between Scarponi and Nibali. That was Nibali - and he did so by keeping a fairly constant pace throughout. Had he tried to be ridiculous and attack Contador, as you are suggesting, the attack would not have worked and he would have gone further into the red in the process, thus doing a worse climb as a result.

Booing at Contador is just weak. I hope next time the tifosi will be better losers... |

Disagree. He's a doper who shouldn't be there. Seeing him there and leading makes a mockery of the sport, thus booing is more than deserved.

I didn't hear any boos for ex-doper Scarponi or Di Luca who only got a 1-year ban. I'm convinced they did this because he is dominating the race. |

Theyve had their bans. Contador should be having his ban right now - whether 1 year or longer.

But the difference is that they served their suspension for doping.

That's true. But I think this booing was more related to his domination, which is - for sure - a result of his doping

I think the booing wasn't doping related, but Crostis related. |

Which teams in particular are responsible for the Crostis-affaire? Cancelling because there might be some technical issues for the riders is obviously ridiculous. |

I only wanna say with this that for the tifosi doping isn't the most important thing. |
