Armstrong did switch bikes at one point. Maybe something wasn't right with his replacement rig. That could be what Horner is on about.
Or he could be making excuses but who really expects him to win the Giro?
Otherwise nice riding from Di Luca. His team really deserved that one.

So Di Luca seems to be the favourite to get the pink jersey tomorrow. I don't think that Lovkvist will have the power to stay with the favourites there. But also Di Luca could lose time to one of the other favourites and miss the jersey.

Yeah in the case of Levi i'd have to agree with Levi4Life, I tend to like Levi as a person more than as an American (believe me I'm the first to speak against something American if i don't believe it is up to par) because he seems like one of the most humble and down to earth of the grand tour contenders and seems like a genuinely good guy so far as I've seen.

Levi is a great sportsman, you never hear him talking crap or wanting to be the best. He trains really hard and then backs it up on the road!!! |

So far Garmin and LPR seem to have completely inverted their level of success in the Giro from last year..
and wtf happened to Wiggins? Did his ass turn lighter? how come he's the best Garmin rider after the first mountain stage?
that's wicked...

the others sucked too much, that's why Wiggins is their best rider

Pellizotti for today in both bets, altough Levi could mess up my intuition. |

Menchov for the stage win ( ) and Di Luca to take the pink jersey, just as I had yesterday, but Lovkvist managed to keep in the favourites group and took it.

I don't think that Di Luca will be able to hang on today. The mountain is too steep for him -- we'll see later, though |

not for the Di Luca in 2007 (ok, I hope that Di Luca is not back now) but I will rather want to see him in pink than Leipheimer.

Thats an example of dividing by 0 if he wins.
I think his mind exploded
Today it felt like an episode of 'Lord of the Rings' on a mission to the mountain of Sodor
That's Wiggins' description of the stage. right.
Anyway, back to the sane people:
Rogers says he could easily have followed the leaders and been in pink now, if Cunego hadn't made him come to a near stop and almost crash.

Soler in pink today.
And yeah, because Cunego almost clicked out of his pedal, everyone behind Rogers lost 6 seconds. That whole group at 6 seconds would have been s.t. normally |
