Great effort by Demare to be there. Cavendish and Greipel messing around on some climbs before was entertaining but he was right there at the business end of a tough run in.

Yeah, Sagan went straight ahead, didn't even move from his line.
I also think, if Demare wouldn't have given that push, he might have won.
Sagan went straight although there was a small corner If he had turned a bit earlier, there would have been a gap for Demare. But I think it was rather a smart than an irregular move.
Judges called Sagan because of the slight turn in the course. Sagan was sprinting in a straight line through the turn, picking the fastest route. Therefore he can't be blamed. Also, it's the third lap of today's stage so Demare could/should have known the best line. If Demare didn't get his hands off his bike and kept sprinting, he would've won.
It looked fishy in the front camera but the footage from the helicopter clearly shows Sagan made a clean sprint. Demare would win if he kept sprinting though.
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong
Nice win.
Actually i was completely unaware that Peter is starting here, as he did not have it in his calendar on web that calendar was done probably by some moron and you can only guess from it).
He should have a nice chance in next stages also.
