I try an attack with Pinot on the last climb

But I failed miserably, and he is caught as he attacks...

Jerome Pineau is the best sprinter among his breakaway companions

Stage 17 -- Gap - Pinerolo

imageshack.us/m/849/3677/17tdf1.jpg
Feillu actually survived todays climbs, while Goss and EBH didn't, so a good chance to make up some points, even though the jersey is probably lost anyway.

imageshack.us/m/560/8425/17tdf2.jpg
Linus Gerdemann wins the stage in front of Kreuziger. I didn't notice his attack, but luckily he didn't get any time on Pinot

imageshack.us/m/189/8097/17tdf3.jpg
Romain Feillu wins the sprint and is 4th in the stage

It will be hard to fight with Kreuziger in TT. Hope you can gain some time in mountains.

Stage 18 -- Pinerolo - Galibier Serre-Chevalier

imageshack.us/m/825/5603/18tdf1.jpg
Pinot gets a gap, and unintentionally also. As we caught some of the breakaway riders, Pinot was riding his own pace, and the group just stopped completely. He then got a gap of around 20 seconds.

imageshack.us/m/851/5353/18tdf2.jpg
Joquim Rodriguez does an amazing stage, and wins the stage

imageshack.us/m/821/7155/18tdf3.jpg
Pinot gets company from the big guns from Lampre, but finishes 2nd. He also gains some time on Kreuziger

He is definitively the race favorite now, unless Contador does something extreme on the Alp d'Huez stage.

Stage 21 -- Creteil - Paris-Champs-Élysées

imageshack.us/m/696/4858/21tdfprofile.jpg
Last chance for a stage win

imageshack.us/m/832/3025/21tdf1.jpg
I have never seen a breakaway win on Champs-Elysees, but Vaugrenard did it.

imageshack.us/m/850/457/21tdf2.jpg
Boasson Hagen secures his jersey, disappointing last stage. And depsite our 2nd in the overall, I'm also disappointed in our Tour.

So Lampre has Ricco, Andy and Contador? Is there any point in even competing against them...

No chance of beating Olivier Kaisen today, as he beat the peloton with two and a half minutes. Impressive

Worlds are coming up shortly, and it will be our last race this season. And next season is probably going to be the last season of this story, so I am going to do it properly.

Kami
Looking forward to the Worlds.

To bad it's ending soon, as it's one of my favorite stories(custom team + young talents). But you've done a great job so far.

Too bad the story is coming to an end, it's been great following it from the start. I must say, I really enjoy the way you present the results.

Will you be doing a new story when the 2011 version comes out?
