Sastre saved his second place and Evans lost his third one it seems.
Menchov might just loose the stage considering the rain and the extremely strong Sanchez, but will be close |

Sanchez wins convincingly, if only he'd be in this form in the start of the vuelta, the number 1 position would be closer But he can probably do great in the worlds now.

Really disaponitment by Kreuziger...again no ProTour points for him - finising 21st overall. Next year he will be up 6 places better ..... I gues.
I though Sanchéz could be strong for that TT, but I did'nt really consider him for him. Nice effort, Samu! |

If Bennati wins tomorrow he will snatch the points jersey, but only if he wins. And Evans is 10 seconds behind Sanchez. Evans always lose for some seconds

I don't really think Bennati will win tomorow.....on last stage there should be unexpected win: TdF 2007 (Bennati), Giro 2007 (Petacchi - really unexpected ), TdF 2006 (Hushovd), Giro 2006 (Förster) ,TdF 2005 (Vinokourov), TdF 2003 (J. P. Nazon), TdF 2001 (Svorada).....
We should think of someone else than Petacchi and Bennati (unlikely with Petacchi's train), like Usov, Zabel or Fernandéz. |

In fact, I didn't thought Menchov can win (I didn't thought he can even finish it) . My favourite were Sastre and Evans, I'm completely disapointed. |
