Cyclingnews on Jaan´s win:
Five years after taking the last of his four Tour de France stage wins, Estonian rider Jaan Kirsipuu proved his passion for cycling is still alive when he grabbed victory on stage three of the FBD Rás in Cahirciveen.
Telling Cyclingnews after the stage that he is still racing for enjoyment, the 39-year-old bested far younger riders to snag the win on the hilly 188-kilometre stage. He rode strongly throughout the stage, bridging across to a dangerous breakaway and then pushing on ahead with seven others before the day's final climb.
At the finish, Kirsipuu beat former world track champion and Olympic medallist Chris Newton (Britain Rapha Condor), David McCann (Ireland National Team) and Brian Kenneally (Meath Engraveit.ie/BDBC) in a gallop to the to the line.
"I'm very happy to have the opportunity to race here again," said Kirsipuu. "I competed in the Tour de France when it started in Ireland in 1998 but didn't have a chance to see much of it then. I'm not racing with ProTour teams any more as I got tired of the constant pressure to win. Now I am enjoying the sport a lot more and traveling to countries that I didn't get to see much before."

I have read that he raced instead of Mads Kaggestad. Because Kaggestad had exam so he made a call to Kirsipuu and asked if he could replace him..

Actually, Jan rides for a small, norwegian hobby team led by the legendaric Mads Kaggestad. Mads got a final exam, and therefore, Jan is his substitute.

FBD Insurance Rás
A breakaway succeeds on the mountainous stage four.
Cyclingnews once more writes retarded stuff. A side picture had that title on. Referring to the stage Jaan won yesterday. I didn't know that Ireland had mountains...
Oh, and even more amusing, what they say is stage four, is actually today, and that link even goes to stage three. Just WOW.

After Rabo CT won the opening prologue(TTT, 8km) in Amsterdam yesterday in Olympia's Tour(with Theo Bos getting the jersey), he won todays stage as well in a mass sprint. He's getting there
Anyway, friday's stages comes less than a kilometer from my house, but since they ride a local circuit of +- 30km, I'll still go to the start/finish place probably. I'll see if I can get some pics uploaded.

Isn't Bos suspended for what he did in Turkey? Or do they still work on it?

Just as disgusting as Valverde's win is that of Theo Bos. What's he still doing on the road?

Unfortunately, UCI still didn't react to the Bos case. They're slow as hell, like with the Valverde case. |

Well they've called him to a hearing, but we don't know when this is.
