Owniak and Basso really like each other, don't they?
Shame about the winner, can't think of a worse one. It would be nice if CCC's manager did the decent thing and shot him at the end of the season. I mean fired, whoops, definitely fired, not shot.
Might shoot him and hopefully he will be reincarnated as a better rider CCC's Hard goal is now completed

Hopefully Ghita should be able to cement that top 10 in the TT tomorrow. |

*Rui Costa, Svein Tuft, Vasil Kiriyenka
Welcome to the final stage here in Poland. An individual time trial of 37 kilometers is going to decide the winner of the 2013 Tour de Pologne. If we look at the current classification it seems like we will have a battle between Rui Costa and Rigoberto Urán, but we might see a surprise today.
Race report
The first person to set a good time to aim on is the second starter of today, Kristof Vandewalle. His time of 21'25 at the first time check is already 56 seconds quicker than first starter McEvoy. At the second time check he's 1'37 quicker.
55'44 is his time at the line, and the first time to actually be set, as McEvoy has already been overtaken quite a while ago.
So far nobody has been able to even approach the Belgian champion. However, after a while Canadian champion Svein Tuft sets off. Unsurprisingly his times at the first and second time check, 21'16 and 33'36.
After overtaking Willems he finishes at 55'13, 31 seconds faster than Vandewalle. A very convincing performance by Tuft, whose time might hang on until the very end.
The first danger for the Canadian might be BMC's Marco Pinotti. The multiple-time Italian champion sets better times at both the first and second time check, 21'11 and 33'36, although his second time check is only a fraction of a second better than Tuft's.
In a close battle until the line Pinotti eventually sets a time of 55'08, 5 seconds faster than Tuft. This means Marco Pinotti is the new leader.
He seems to be unthreatened so far, but at the first time check we see a surprising Chérel setting the same time as Tuft. However, at the second time check he's already 4th provisionally, '14 behind.
At the line he loses 46 seconds, provisional 6th for him. He started too quickly then.
Meanwhile Pietropolli is surprising everyone. After being in the break yesterday he now sets provisional 3rd times at the time checks, faster than Vandewalle both times.
He totally collapes though, losing 57 seconds to Pinotti.
It seems to become a day for the aged persons in the peloton. Tom Danielson surprises everyone by setting a time of 20'59 at the first time check, 12 seconds faster than Pinotti! 33'16 is his time at the second check, 19 seconds is the gap he needs to hold on the final part of today.
With 54'56 he sets the first time under 55 minutes, and he beats Pinotti by 11 seconds.
Castroviejo is the youngest of today's candidates it seems. At the first time check he equals Danielson's time, at the second time check he beats him with a time of 33'12.
With 54'42 he crushes Danielson's time by 14 seconds.
Meanwhile Bob Jungels is riding very strong. He equals Castroviejo at the first time check, then loses just 1 second at the second.
54'46 puts him in provisional second.
Jan Barta has had a disappointing race so far. However, at the first time check he sets a time of 20'54, no less than 5 seconds faster than Castroviejo and Danielson. 33'06 is another best time for him, still 5 seconds faster than Castroviejo.
54'31 ensures Castroviejo of not enjoying his lead for very long.
Sky's science applies on Henao today. 20'45 is an incredibly fast time at the first check for Henao. 32'57 also puts him in the lead at the second check.
At the line he has lost though, by 3 seconds to Barta.
It also applies to Kiryienka. 20'40 first, then 32'47 are both provisional best times.
At the line he sets a time of 54'06, which is no less than 25 seconds faster than Barta.
Talansky ensures he can't enjoy for long either. With 20'25 he leads by 14 seconds at the first time check. 32'23 at the second check means his lead is already extended to 24 seconds.
At the line he sets a time of 53'21, which is incredibly quick.
Kim surprisingly isn't faster than Talansky at the first time check, losing 6 seconds. At the second check he lost even more and a stage win seems out of reach for the North Korean.
Eventually he loses 13 seconds to Talansky. This puts him provisionally second.
Ghita loses 12 seconds at the first check. At the second check this has grown to 16 seconds. Still nothing to worry about for him.
At the line he loses 28 seconds to Talansky, which places him in 3rd provisionally.
Majka disappoints and immediately loses 23 seconds. However, with a lead of over a minute to Ghita he seems safe for 9th. At the second time check this hasn't changed, as he also loses 4 seconds to Talansky.
At the line he loses 1'22 to Ghita, which means he hangs on to his 9th place in the GC relatively comfortably.
De Vries loses 9 seconds at the first time check. He's down 12 seconds at the 2nd time check, and if he continues like this he'll probably overtake Duarte in the GC, and maybe even Kiserlovski.
3rd is the place he's put in at the line, 23s down to Talansky. It might be enough for him to rise in the GC.
Duarte isn't the best time trialist, and proves that at the first time check, where he already loses 43 seconds. At the second time check he's already a minute down and his 7th position is in danger.
He loses 2'16 to Talansky at the line, and he's overtaken by both De Vries and Majka in the GC now!
Kiserlovski loses 32 seconds at the first time check, not being the best time trialist as well. 55 seconds down on Talansky at the second check endangers his 6th place, as De Vries is doing well.
2'02 loss at the line he's overtaken by De Vries and will have to live with a 7th spot in the final GC.
Mollema does very well though. He's provisionally only 3 seconds down to Talansky. At the second time check this is 5 seconds loss, and this seems enough to consolidate his GC-position.
He kicks off fellow Dutchman De Vries off the podium with a time of 53'41 and a third place.
Kwiatkowski is even better at the first checks. 20'24 is provisionally best! At the second time check he is again quickest, with 32'19.
This pays out in a time of 53'18, 3 seconds faster than previous leader Talansky.
Martin loses 22 seconds to Kwiatkowski. At the second time check he's already 42 seconds down, which means he's provisionally only 6 seconds ahead of Kwiatkowski in the GC.
He loses 1'36 at the line to Kwiatkowski, and is kicked off the GC-podium.
Costa sets an intermediate time of 20'14, which is fastest at the first check. 32'05 is another leading time for him, this time at the second check.
At the line he's very quick with 53'02, which puts him in the lead. He'll however have to wait for Urán to see if he wins the overall as well. 31 seconds is the lead for Urán in the GC.
Uran loses 5 seconds at the first time check. That seems enough to hold on to until the line. At the second check he's another 5 seconds down, which means he can lose 21 seconds in the final 15km.
Urán sets a final time of 53'28, which is 26 seconds slower than Costa. This means Rigoberto Urán is the newest addition of the list of winners of the Tour de Pologne!

My Pologne goal is done.
Some fighting spirit would certainly be nice, Christian
On the other hand, it makes me more enthusiastic about replacing him with Po-ding next year
By the way, it won't take long until I do Vattenfall. You may expect the preview soon.

Thanks for the reports Selwink. What might have lacked on pace, was definitely made up by quality
One crap stage for Mollema, or a podium could've been possible. Po-ding just missing the top 10 is disappointing though.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Getting trolled now. Poor performance here but Moinard and Hushovd tried. That's Damian's debut season done already.

Oh dear but shows how strong the U25 presence was at this race. Ghita 9th overall I'll take, going to stick my neck out and say we will definitely be in the WT next year. |

Basso 11th on the stage. He has spend too much time with BMC riders on other stages.
Moser 15th in GC is a good result for him, considering the mountain stages in the first part of the race. |

4th Stage will come out tomorrow around 12 Had to turn down Urban Detail in order to complete the stage, so graphically the pics won't be very good, but we have an interesting stage ahead of us, with a few surprises

Pologne wasn't too bad for FDJ. We got a stage win, perhaps hould have been two, and we finished inside the Top20 GC. Frankly i would call that a success!
Now bring on Britain and Hanzens second stage win
