KBC 3 daage de panne: Motorex-Credit Suisse, ING-InBev, Globant-Telefe, Team Fastweb, Lierse-Pizza Ullo
But if you want me in there I guess I can send some of the riders with spare race days...

CRITÉRIUM INTERNATIONAL
Corsica will host the 81st edition of the Critérium International, the third time the race will grace the Mediterranean island's shores in its long and unique history. Only three stages riders will vie for the coveted title hoping to join the coveted race palmares which boasts Laurent Fignon, Chris Boardman and Seán Kelly as former winners. This year the race will get a shake-up from it's traditional time trial finish, with organisers ASO choosing to run the queen stage, a mountain top finish at the Col de l'Ospedale, on the final day allowing the chrono men no chance for recourse.
Source: Cyclingnews
Stage 1
Porto-Vecchio-Porto-Vecchio 89,5km
Stage 1 is a short stage who should normally end in a sprint. However, there are no real supersprinters here in France, but sprinters like Ertzen, Veenhof and Kristoff are not bad either.
Stage 2 (ITT)
Porto-Vecchio-Porto-Vecchio 6,5km
Stage 2 is a very short time-trial. This stage is not the desicive stage, but some time can be lost here.
Stage 3
Porto-Vecchio-Col de l’Ospedale 179km
Stage 3 is the desicive stage. Finishing on the Col de l'Ospedale (13,8km at 6,2%), this stage will get some fireworks. Did the non-climbers gain enough time on the time-trial or will the climbers battle it out for the victory?

Top favourites
| | | | Rider | Team | Mountain | Time-trial | Mathijs Ruiter | ING-InBev | 81 | 65 | Andrew Talansky | Barry's Maple Leaf | 77 | 76 | Jakab Zoltan | TAP-Michelin | 80 | 80 |
Mathijs Ruiter is the best climber in this Critérium International. However, his time-trial ability might lose him some time in the second stage.
Andrew Talansky is someone who can climb well and time-trial well. He isn't the biggest favourite, but it wouldn't suprise me if he finishes top-5. He is, however, the biggest favourite for the youth classification
Jakab Zoltan is the biggest favourite. Both great in the mountains and in time-trials. He and his team will be disappointed if he doesn't win.
Outsiders
| | | | Rider | Team | Mountain | Time-trial | Chris Horner | AXA-Pinarello | 77 | 74 | Denis Menchov | Nintendo-Ambuja | 76 | 76 | Nicholas Roche | Tulip-Guinness | 77 | 71 | Michael Rogers | Domino's-ASR | 76 | 77 | Rein Taaramäe | Pervyj | 76 | 75 |
Chris Horner might be old, but he can still climb. And his time-trial abilty is decent. Top 10 for sure.
Denis Menchov is almost the same as Chris, but he's a bit younger and a bit better in time-trials.
Nicholas Roche on the other hand is not that old. He's a better climber than both of them, but his time-trial abilty isn't good enough to win the Critérium International.
Michael Rogers is a decent time-trialist and climber. His manager (guess who? ) believes he can score a top-10
Rein Taaramae is young and solid. He can do good things for Pervyj.
Can't be underestimated
| | | | Rider | Team | Mountain | Time-trial | Dario Cataldo | Tulip-Guinness | 76 | 75 | Damiano Cunego | Bulgari-Inditex | 77 | 70 | Steven Kruijswijk | Cymru Wales | 76 | 72 | Tiago Machado | TAP-Michelin | 75 | 75 | Rinaldo Nocentini | Pervyj | 75 | 69 | Nairo Quintana | ING-InBev | 77 | 68 | Christian Vande Velde | Red Bull-M&M's | 75 | 74 |
Stage 1: Yanick Ertzen
Stage 2: Jakab Zoltan
Stage 3: Mathijs Ruiter
GC: Jakab Zoltan
Points: Mathijs Ruiter
KotM: Someone from the break
Youth: Andrew Talansky
Team: ING-InBev
The Critérium International will be a short, but exciting stage. With no real superstars present, a lot of cyclist can have a change they normally won't get when their team-leaders are present. Let's hope for an exciting race!

Nice preview for doing it a first-time!
Hmm, expected less opposition. This is a perfect race for my custom-riders though

Would like to know that as well
Edit: 79 SP stat vs 76 SP stat and you choose the 76 one? Dafuq? Do you have Veenhof correctly in your DB?

@Jesleyh - Thanks.
@SSJ2Luigi and Jesleyh - I ran a test with the first stage a few days ago to test if everything was working. Ertzen won that stage in front of Veenhof, Appolonio, Kristoff and Van Hummel (I believe)

Still, Van Dijk should be a really good leadout, and otherwise Rasmussen is good as well. Hmm, Veenhof probably had a bad daily form then. You still can't make Ertzen favourite because of a test-race though
Well, doesn't matter at all. Look forward to the actual race.

Spoiler NOTE: This is my first report ever, so feedback is very much appreciated
CRITÉRIUM INTERNATIONAL
Porto-Vecchio-Porto-Vecchio 89,5km
Stage 1 is a very short stage. The race consists of two different loops around Porto-Vecchio. In the middle of the stage the riders have to climb the Côte de Conca. Only 15 kilometers before the finish there is an intermediate sprint. The final of this race is set for the sprinters, but the last 700 meters are going slightly uphill, so maybe something can disturb the sprint.
Johan Veenhof (ING), Alexander Kristoff (TUG) and Yanick Ertzen (SEP)
Kenny Van Hummel (DOM), Lloyd Mondory (TUG), Kristof Goddaert (LPU), Pim Ligthart (TCS) and Denis Flahaut (TLI)
Sébastien Chavanel (TCS), Davide Appolonio (BML), Stefan Van Dijk (ING), Simone Ponzi (LPU), Dean Downing (AXA), Adrien Petit (TLI), Graeme Brown (TCW) and Alex Rasmussen (ING).
124 riders are very eager to start in this year's Critérium International. The weather forecast predicts it will be cloudy today with a temperature of 12 degrees.
Almost directly after the race organizers wave with the flag, Sergej Fuchs (TLI) tries to get away. He gets joined by Nicki Sørensen (TCS). However, their attempt does not succeed.
After a lot of attacks, we have a breakaway with the following riders:
Zitta (RBM), Oliveira (BUL), Vandewalle (LPU), Kroon (DOM), Puccio (MAG), Lancaster (TCW), Mandri (PER), Boaro (NAC), Wilkinson (AXA), Pineau (TCS), Craddock (CSC), Durasek and again Fuchs (both TLI)
Jerome Pineau picks up the mountain points in front of Vandewalle and Puccio. In the meantime Emmanuele Sella (CSC) joined the breakaway, which has a 2 minute lead over the peleton. The peleton is lead by Barry's Maple Leaf, ING-InBev and TAP-Michelin.
The adventure of the breakaway ends 30 kilometer before the finish and nobody tries to attack after that. The intermedaite sprint 15 kilometer before the finish is won by Alexander Kristoff (TUG), in front of Veenhof (ING) and Ertzen (SEP)
7km to go and the first trains are getting formed. ING builds one for Veenhof and Tulip builds one for Kristoff
The riders are going under 5km banner and Tulip-Guinness is leading the peleton. They hope Alexander Kristoff can win this stage. Johan Veenhof is also well positioned at the front together with his lead-out for today Vladimir Karpets.
Only 3 kilometer left. Who will win this stage?
2km to go and Kristoff starts his sprint very early. Veenhof is close behind him and Appolonio (BML) and Ligthart (TCS) are also near the front. Favourite Yanick Ertzen (SEP) is far behind and will probably not win this stage.
Under the flag and Kristoff is still leading.
But Kristoff takes a bad turn and slows down. He also blockes Veenhof. Appolonio is in the lead with Ligthart and Dean Downing (AXA) close behind.
600 meters to go and the road is going slightly uphill. It seems it will be a battle between the Italian and the Dutchman. Downing comes closer and Kristoff falls behind with Veenhof in his wheel.
400 meters and Ligthart takes over the lead. Veenhof finally gets rid of the Norwegian and gives everything he has left to close the gap.
100 meters. Ligthart is leading comfortably. Veenhof and Appolonio are batteling for the second place.
Pim Ligthart takes today's stage and the lead in the GC. Johan Veenhof overtakes Appolonio for second. Downing finishes in fourth and Denis Flahaut (TLI) finishes fifth. Kristoff eventualy finishes in sixth place just in front of Graeme Brown (TCW) and Kenny Van Hummel (DOM). Goddaert (LPU) and Zoltan (TAP) complete the top 10. Yanick Ertzen had an off-day and finishes eleventh.

just like Bakelants, Balloni, Basso, Bruseghin, De Clercq, De Gendt, De Weert, Démare, Devenyns, Devolder, Eeckhout, Gavazzi, Goddaert, Gonzalez, Hermans, Juodvalkis, Meersman, Meyer, Nizzolo, Ponzi, Rabottini, Roelandts, Rosseler, Seeldraeyers, Thompson, Van Staeyen, Vandewalle, Vantomme and Vasquez can't win
and besides I effectively got a 1-2
