Lars Bak -> Lotto-Ridley
... according to Lefevere.
Can anyone explain why Lefevere feels the need of announcing other teams' rider transfers? |

Did Margaliot ever do anything outside of Israel?
I'm not an expert on U-riders, but looking at his results, he doesn't come across as talented.
(I'm sure this will come back and haunt me when he wins Tour de France in three years...) |

Yeah, 2nd last in GP Formies and 4th last in GP Wallonie aren't exactly stellar results...

Hey, he has a top 100 in the 2010 GP Beghelli, where he beat Teklehaimanot. Stop hating.

To be honest, Riis isn't exactly the best at spotting young talent. He has more busts than hits.
8 Hits
Chris Sörensen, Frank Schleck, Andy Schleck, Matt Goss, Kasper Klostergaard, Matti Breschel, Vladimir Gusev, Richie Porte
16 Busts
Mads Christensen, Michael Morkov, André Steensen, Lasse Bochman, David Tanner, Thomas Bruun Eriksen, Roberto Arroyo, Morten Knudsen, Pablo Urtasún, Javier RamÃrez Abeja, JoaquÃn Novoa, Martin Pedersen, Anders Lund, Christian Müller, Brian Vandborg, Linus Gerdemann
(And before anyone asks I'm listing Gerdemann as a bust because he did nothing for the team, then demanded a transfer away the second another team offered him the possibility of a better contract)
In fact, Riis has been striking out with young talent so much that even in the official saxo bank forum the posters are mostly critical whenever he makes a young signing

Richie was already very known is australia and riis didn't spot him, he was just lucky enough to be the one he chose. |

he is having an off-season(fights to get top 10's in israel),but he is mostly known for being consistant and hes goal is to be the first israeli to be on the TDF TOP step.
and one last thing,
i am going to kill some one if PCM.DAILY'S 2012 pack wont put him in(but im sure it will-now its only left to buy the game ). |

The first Israeli to win the Tour? Which of his results justify that there's even the slightest chance he will be a top contender? |

Yeah I know Sastre recommended him, but it's Riis' fault for taking the guy

Michael Mørkøv bust? No way imo. He is a really good rider. Wouldnt call Anders Lund a bust either, he was pretty good last year actually. Then he followed the Schlecks over at Leopard, and.. Now have a bad year (not really Riis fault).
EDIT: Dont think its fair calling Mads Christensen a bust.
