I'm not a dutchman actually. My mum's family is originally from France (Beaumont), and my dads origins are in Mettingen, Germany (Lampe).
So I'm a German/Frenchy. So I am completely objective, see?
German/French on a dutch passport. Not possible one bit.

This is what Gesink said
"On the last climb I never went into the red. I just kept riding pace just below my maximum, I saw Valverde could only just hang on. Horner and Sanchez went but I just kept riding my own pace, and only Valverde could follow, just barely.
In the last kilometer Valverde went and I knew he would do that, I tried to follow but he went so incredibly fast. But I could return later"
Rest of the interview is not really interesting |

You can literally see the moment where Valverde, from 2nd wheel, starts sprinting until he reaches 1st group...

Great stage for nationalistic bias, and clearly not understanding any kind of racing tactics, yes.

Yeah, I've just rewatched it with my dad, and can clearly see that Gesink can barely hold Valverde's wheel whenever he goes through on the descent. Sure, Valverde may have followed him up the climb (I never actually said he hadn't - I was just picking fault with you saying he was a wheelsucker for the whole stage), but afterwards, I'd put the catch up with Horner and Sanchez as 90% thanks to Valverde.
I'm also very glad you've accepted my almightyness.

It is the same stage as 2008, with the Alto de Aia
Result then was a group sprint of 6, because there is a downhill after.
It was 1. Cunego 2. Contador 3. T.Dekker
So, expect the same tomorrow, maybe cut a man of 2/3. Could see the same 4 as today surviving. |

I saw Jurgen van den Broeck getting back in action after a disastrous Paris-Nice. Hope he can do something today, Lotto needs a win this season |

Marco Pinotti will be on the podium tomorrow. He lost only 50 seconds on the queen stage yesterday, TT is 22km long. I just have the feeling.

Gesink isn't there! Too bad for him. A flat tire, I think.
