with jez hunt riding for GB at the worlds, he may sign for sky, as might Dan Lloyd. tough luck for everyone on cervelo though.
Sky are still dreaming of signing Cavendish. Cavendish hates Hunt's guts with the burning fury of a thousand suns.

My reasoning was that they had Hunt working for Cav at the Worlds when it's basically the same management as Sky.

It's said that Team Schleck will also be sponsored by Cervelo (delivering bikes to the team, obviously), and that a bunch of the Cervelo Test Team riders will join the team.
Which makes sense since Brian Nygaard said that they had signed with 20 riders even though only 8-9 of them had been reported by the media. |

It won't include the Cervelo stuff though.

Konovalovas, Bos, Apollonio, Tondó, Reimer, Lancaster (and to a lesser extente Wyss and Rollin) are all riders I'd love to have on any team.
Wonder where they're going.
Wyss probably to BMC. No idea on the others

So, he'll do the Tour of California, then retire? |

He'll probably do TDU, some smaller races like the new one is S. Africa, ToC. Then make an anouncement and say "Just kiddin, i'm coming to the Tour"

I don't remember that. Then again I haven't been paying much attention.
What I remember is him saying he wanted to do well in "select races like California and Paris-Nice"

Bos to Vascansoeil makes the most sense. Tondo to Movistar as well. Rollin would probably fit best on a French team (Quebecer, used to ride for Roubaix). Konovalovas could go anywhere. Reimer I could see at NetApp if they got Pro Conti, and Apollonio seems destined for Lampre or Geox. I'd also throw Lancaster to Fly V (or the team formerly known as Fly V, they have a new main sponsor coming in), as they are going to be Pro Conti.

Yes that does make the most sense, but would riding for SpiderTech be an option do you think? |
