it only 20km so menchov can handle it. he didnt go any faster then he should today and was leading at no time, allways following so for me he's the big favourite |

So, Theres a competetion for some CSC goodies at tv2, and the question is: How much time will Sastre loose tomorrow. What do you guys think?
I already lodged a guess of 1:27, but I might send in another bid in my wifes name :-)

I have doubts he will reach the top 10... |

I agree, Karpets will be strong. Bodrogi (last time 2nd) also abandoned. Backstedt and Menchov are next in the line, but as you said Menchov is tired and Cadel does so.
Last time Kreuziger went on 20km time trial he was 6th, but there's no Savoldelli, Dekker, Kasheckin or Mazzoleni. Only of those six who were ahead of him and is here is Evans, but he will be tired. But there are some other strong TT men. Like McCartney, Posthuma and Clement. It is really question. |

Kreuziger is a good bid for tomorrow as we shouldn't forget his prologues from Paris-Nice and Tour de Romandie where he finished 2nd in both. I could well see him finishing tomorrow in the Top 3. |

...and he was also 2nd in Tour of Denmark TT. But there was no strong riders and he was in bad shap.
At least someone who has same opinion as I do. |

No tips or guesses for how much Sastre will loose? I really want to win a signed CSC shirt :-)

1:51 is what he lost in 25km in the last TT. which has similar terrain as this one (highway course)

I really can't see past Menchov, Sánchez possibly and maybe a surprise by Kreuziger.
other than that, even Bodrogi has abandoned

I see more TT-ers there than Kreuziger. Don't forget about Posthuma or Clement |

sorry, he's far from being good enough I believe.
Posthuma seems very off form lately, and Clement has been working on his climbing. usually that detracts from TT performance.
anyway, considering tomorrow's TT will be more about who isn't dead than about who can TT, it's entirely possible that we'll have a big surprise as a winner. just as any of the above can win, really.
it's a crapshoot.
