Tour de Suisse

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-107.jpg
Today´s stage should be an easy one for Martin and Grabsch. So our goal is to defend the leader´s jersey

Well, after many crashes I had to simulate this stage just like the next! Martin could defend his jersey in front of Grabsch and Martinez

Tour de Suisse

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-108.jpg
The 5th stage is the first one made for climbers. Of course the stage end isn´t the hardest one but it´s still a nice chance to get some seconds

As I already said, I had to simulate this stage ,too! This time we couldn´t get a good result which means Martin and Grabsch lost more than a few minutes! Tosatto took the stage win while Martin and Grabsch lost the connection or what ever!? Poor result for us and really unlucky that I had to simulate this one!

Tour de Suisse

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-109.jpg
After the first stages, the Tour de Suisse becomes serious today! The ´queen stage´is waiting for the peloton. Tony Martin lost many seconds yesterday so our goal might be to get some positions back in the overall. The main favorites for today should be Armstrong, Sastre, Pellizotti, Basso, Menchov, Wiggins and Andy Schleck

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/2-73.jpg
With only 6 kilometres to go, Pellizotti was the first one, making a move on the final climb

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/3-71.jpg
But Sastre, Wiggins and also Tony Martin were following him

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/4-69.jpg
The next moves came by Armstrong, Menchov and Arroyo while Pellizotti was still in front

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/5-69.jpg
In the end it was Pellizotti, who could celebrate his stage win with almost 1 minute to his chasers. That means he´s the new overall leader after this stage

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/6-62.jpg
Arroyo takes the second plcae on the podium in front of Sastre but where´s Armstrong, Schleck, Martin & Co??

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/7-58.jpg
Here they are in the second chasing group. Andy Schleck wins the sprint there in front of Armstrong and Menchov. Martin was able to hang on there, taking the 8th position!

Tour de Suisse

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-110.jpg
After the hard stage yesterday another hilly stage is waiting! Again our biggest goal is to improve Martin´s overall position

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/6-63.jpg
There were many escapes today who did a great job!

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/7-59.jpg
On the last climb with only 10 kilometres to go Veikkanen from the breakaway was able to get a gap to the other escapes

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/2-74.jpg
Tony Martin was the first one who started an attack out of the pack with 13 kilometres to go. Sastre and Brutt went after him while the breakaway was still in front

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/3-72.jpg
On the final downhill section Martin, Sastre and Brutt were in front of the pack but the stage win wasn´t impossible while Veikkanen was far in front of a few other riders like Sicard, Pauriol, Mandri, Moreno, Vorganov, Sprick and Tosatto

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/8-49.jpg
Veikkanen takes the stage win in front of Sicard and Pauriol but behind, Martin tries to get some seconds back

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/4-70.jpg
When the sprint began in this group, Martin was the fastest

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/5-70.jpg
And so he is the first one of the favorites, crossing the finish-line. He was able to get some seconds back

There are only 2 stages left and we´re still able to get a nice result with Tony Martin

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/2-75.jpg
On the last smaller uphill section Tony Martin made a great move! No one of the favorites took this attack serious and so Martin was able to get a nice gap

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/3-73.jpg
With only 4 kilometres to go, the last escapes were caught by Martin. He was in front by 50 seconds!

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/4-71.jpg
No one could reach him in the end and so he´s celebrating another stage win! Again he could do a little jump in the overall

Tour de Suisse

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-112.jpg
It´s the last stage for our team in Switzerland before we´re ready for the Tour! It´s also the last chance for Tony Martin to improve his overall position which seems pretty realistic because the last stage is a time trial about 27 kilometres

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/2Cancellara.jpg
Cancellara was the first one, setting an amazing time! His ride was the best for a very long time

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/3Martin.jpg
But again it was up to Tony Martin who came with a fantastic shape after the Giro. In the end he takes his 3rd stage win in Switzerland in front of Cancellara. He was 23 seconds faster than the World Champion Fabian Cancellara

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/4Pellizotti.jpg
Franco Pellizotti could defend the leader´s jersey in front of Sastre and Tony Martin! Yes finally Martin was able to reach the podium with his great ride today!
