In my opinion 71 is just fine and the only reason why he delivers better in sprints on a bumpy terrain is because most sprinters are not good to pass on hills so there's a reduced group of cyclists and it gives him more chance. at 72 hills he would be in the same category as nacer bouhanni. |

I have another question. Why the potential of top rider is so high ? Why it isn't depends on age ?
Taking say Sagan as example, he's already got high stats. So if you give him a potential that's lower than 7, his potential won't be high enough for the game to fall between the limits set in the various youngriderscarac.xml files. Therefore Sagan will progress beyond his potential, depending on the stat (so he won't improve that much in cobbles and sprint, but he will on the mountains and tts, which would make an unbeatable rider of him), and we obviously don't want to see this happen in the long run, because he's already got high stats in basically every single field. That's why for example Frank Schleck, a casual 30+ aged rider has got 6 potential.
It depends on the age as well, of course, but it's more about what do you think about that rider's potential. For example, Power looks set to be a world-beater a day, thus we gave him 7 potential if i'm not mistaken.
I think that a rider like sagan is so much a beast in a career because after 2 years he's easily more than 80 on flat, hill, cobble, sprint, acceleration, downhill, stamina, recuperation and fighting spirit |

Because he actually proved that he can climb well if he's in shape. He can't fight for a gt top 10, that's why he's got a rather low recuperation stat.
He has proved in the past that he can fight for gt top 10. He would certainly fight for a top 10 in a giro or vuelta in good shape but for the tour its another story. |

That's why I was talking about potential. I always decrease potential of dozens or hundreds riders |

bob, the Daily DB used to have lower potential, but the thing is, mainly in PCM 14, the potential is just bugged for higher riders.
It's not easy to explain, but if you set current topriders like Contador, Rodriguez, Cavendish and all the others, on potential 4, then their potential will bug and they might up with a limit of 85MO(Conta), 84HI(Purito) and 84SP(Cavendish).
The potential is still a bit random, but when we give them high potential, they are not outside the ''potential limits'' and therefore their potential will bug less.
That's why they got high potential. For them it wouldn't make a big difference anyway because potential is based on stat limits, not on how much they could still develop(growth). Those topriders have already or nearly reached their limit if they're on 6 or 7 potential.
If they have 4 potential(which has a top stat limit of 76 or so), then they are over the limit, causing the game to give buggy potentials(84+ sometimes)

Jesleyh oo, so that's how it works... and it's stupid. Riders like Sagan, Kwiatek, Quintana etc who are very good in early age are very very doped. |

Well, to be fair, if he delivers better in a sprint on bumpy terrain than Degenkolb like he did yesterday, theoretically he needs a higher hill stat than him and that would be 74 then.

Giving Contador 2 higher than Quintana is blasphemy, they definetely deserve the same in my opinion.
83 - Quintana, Contador and Froome
82 - Nibali |

I think Dennis needs an upgrade. He won the TDU so that's 79/80HL plus he set a new Hour record so that's 82/83 TT

83 TT makes him as good as Tony Martin. You think Dennis is that good ? |

You're being a bit crazy right now with contador 84. It's only the start of the season there's no GT that top contenders have done yet. |

My 84 is based on last season as are the stats of the top riders. I've changed no rider based on this season yet. |

What makes you think that he is better than degenkolb in hills. In my opinion lobato got a bit of luck. He's certainly not better than kristoff on hills |
