 Tour Down Under
Stage 3: Unley - Victor Harbor
A mainly flat stage, so let’s hope that the sprinter-teams will help us keeping things together again today.
Holding every single jersey in the race gives us a special kind of responsibility today, so no break for us.
Three of the new jerseys in the peloton form the most successful break today, when biggest they have a gap of four minutes.
We keep the break within reach until RadioShack and Liquigas come to the front to help finish off the break.
Again today Bak does brilliantly delivering Thor in Pozzatos wheel.
The RadioShack-train looks like it delivered Boonen too early so with 700 m to go Hushovd starts his sprint from 2nd position.
Pozzatos leadout was meant for Ferrari, but Hushovd thanks for the effort.

Stage 4: Norwood – Tanunda
Looks like another sprinters stage, so hopefully RadioShack and Liquigas will help control the race again today. Will it be a third stage for Hushovd?
Early on the stage we don’t even have to help keeping the breaks within reach.
Johnny Walker makes sure Joker Merida gets noticed today.
They break got a gap of 4’30 when most, but with plenty of teams pacing the peloton they bever really stood a chance.
We make sure to pull in the break in time for the second KOM sprint of the day. After all Jeppe has grown quite fond of the jersey.
With 2 km to go Nizzolo is leading out Boonen with everyone else coming from behind. Will it be too early?
900 m and Boonen has been leading for a few houndred meters by now. Hushovd pulls out going for the win.
He is unstoppable!

I guess this is mostly a question of form, determination and experience. We have finally learned to set up for a bunch sprint while RadioShack still haven't got their train working and Swift is left to fight for himself by ISD - Ferrari.
Nevertheless I'm still kind of disappointed that the other WT-teams don't take this race more seriously. Perhaps they had spies at our training camp and realized no one would be able to compete with Thor anyway...

Stage 5: McLaren Vale – Old Willunga Hill
This is the stage everyone have been waiting for. Tonight we will know who wins the race.
Wonder if anyone have decided to challenge Thor?
Everyone attacks the first 60 km so no one gets away. In the end Eisel and Cozza are allowed to go. They should be easy to catch again when time comes…
On the first pass of Old Willunga Hill 24 riders pull away from the rest. Among them five of my riders.
Right at the foot of Old Willinga Hill the second time the two front groups are reunited to a 42 rider large group. Bøchman is given permission to try his legs early to shake the competition.
Flecha follows Lasse and Hushovd follows Flecha.
Everyone is caught once again and with 2 km to the finish everything is still open.
Tony Martin attacks, but my guys are right there in his wheel.
In the end it comes down to a classic hill sprint.
El Fares is putting in a very strong sprint.
But had any of them really thought they could beat Thor?

Stage 6: Adelaide - Adelaide
Final flat stage. The GC should be safe, but we are still to secure the mountain jersey – and who knows perhaps a final stage win...
Plenty of attacking right from the start, but since a lot of sprinters are still hoping for a win the breakers never get much of a gap.
A big thanks from us to Garmin, RadioShack and Liquigas. All of these team have throughout the race made our job very easy and they continue on this final stage.
We start chasing the break to avoid the risk of Jeppe losing his mountain jersey. But the breakaway took care of that for us in ditributing the points and before the last sprint Jeppe had 20 pts to Bennati on second and only 16 pts left to fight for.
Though Bennati & Co. keep on trying the break is doomed. With 23 km to go they have less than a minutes lead on the peloton.
7 km to go and the peloton is back in one piece.
Bak doesn't managing to deliver Hushovd quite as perfectly as the other days, but still Boonen starts his sprint with 2,2 km to go. Way to early.
With 700 m to go Ferrari and Boonen hold a decent lead to the others. Hushovd is just about to leave Farrars wheel for the final punch.
Once again the great Thor proves why he is considered a God back home!
