Experimenting is stupid. Why not just try it once until you en up addicted. No reason to risk that imo.
I was talking about substances without physical addiction. And coming from mother nature (with exception of acid)
Why are people going on rollercoasters, adrenaline sports or going to see a movie? Because of fun and better knowledge of themselves maybe. Psychotropic substances are about nothing else...i have never took and i never would take a drug with physical addiction. Because they only steal from your mind and body.
Edit: Btw. if someone thinks that i should stop to speak about this topic here so openly, just let me know and i will stop and delete it, it could be a bit inapropriate...

Most people who do extreme sports (BASE-jumping, skydiving, etc.) do it for the same reason people do drugs; it givees them a "high", not metaphorically speaking. They experience a release of chemicals in their brain very similar to what happens when someone does something extreme.
It's the reason why people want to jump more and more and from higher and higher places; the initial kick isn't enough so they need something better. They get addicted to the feeling just like a drug addict. The exact same thing happens to many ex-soldiers, retired policemen, etc. The adrenaline they felt every day on the job has become so intergral to their being that they need to seek out that thrill again.

I, for one, don't understand all those things. Jumping out of airplanes to get a "kick". Doing all these extreme things, challenging your own death all the time.
When turn the volume up and it's a Jimi Hendrix solo, I get a kick, too, but it ain't very dangerous |

Thats not comparable. My point was simply that there isn't really a difference between cocain and skydiving. They are both addictive, they give you a high and can easily kill you if you overdo it.

And I guess they're both about equally expensive? Not sure about that, though. |

Snorting coke while skydiving while the instructor who is strapped o to your back is holding a loaded gun to your head.
Now that's the sort of rush I'm looking for. Or knitting, that's awesome too, I guess. Knitting TO THE MAX!

Hello Mark,
It is a very skeptical question. I believe in God. Don't you? |

The BBC have done an article on East German doping the 70's and 80's. Of course i knew that there was a lot of doping in East Germany and the USSR, but i never really looked into the subject to any real extent. I saw this and have done some more follow up reading...
Jesus christ its horrible stuff. An absolute disgrace to anything and everything involved from sport to politics to science...
Puts modern doping into perspective frankly. Makes Lance look like a flaming Angel, and the Spaniards like Chocolate Cake covered in fudge sauce and ice cream
(felt it was better here than Cafe Pedro, which is a happy place)

I did not read the article, but i read a lot about the topic in the past. There were people dying or lives destroyed by hormons and other stuff. It was also happening in Czechoslovakia of course, our best female athletes were bearded rocks of muscles and they are still like men now.
Edit: Also doping was combined with military drills and slavery like actions, athletes were actually tortured by inhuman trainings and methods...

We can prove that the dark side of the mood exists, in fact it has been proven, its just fact where the God idea is fantasy

At the moment there is a political scandal going on where the mayor of a small town has been found guilty of having sexual relations with a (at the time) 14 years old girl for whom he was said to have been a "father figure".
He was first sentenced to 4 years in prison, but appieled on the spot. The case is now starting up again and the police has been able uncover logs from both text messages and Skype.
It is absolutely bewildering hearing him trying to explain the conversations they were having.
According to him "are you shaven?" and "Are you wet?" were not ment in a sexual manner, insted he was talking about wether or not she had shaved her legs and if she had been to the bathroom!
Most ridicoluse of all; "let's shower together" ment, according to him, that they should wash his cabin (litterally!).

By the way, this is one no way related to rape, just so it's clear. It was consensual, but morally corrupt seeing as how she was said to be going through a rough patch and he was a father figure.
There is no way on earth he can actually believe what he is saying.

Then what the fuck is the law in Norway! Legal age is what exactly?
and is there no such thing as statutory rape? (which would describe exactly that situation here)
