@JuanMotr: I'll think about it. However, I feel like now's the time for both of them to really start winning and battling for glory. It may be (too) soon in their career, but I feel like they've come to a certain level that they can really start riding like stars. They may be young, but so is Sagan, and he's riding world class. (However, I won't let this story turn into domination, don't worry about that)
@FreitasPCM: Well, then it's time to proof that they're worth the status
@SweatyViking: He took Cancellara's bike at the start
@ste_18: I agree
@fcancellara: I was at my sister's house-warming party I'm still alive, thanks! I'll try the new graphics things, thanks very much for that. We'll see whether it worked next race
(I actually did quite some races this morning because I knew I was going to be gone for the rest of the day )
Next race will probably be for tomorrow morning. (GP de Québec, Eric)

Thanks a lot to fcancellara for the real jerseys!
GP de Québec
In a couple of hours, GP de Montréal starts, the second of two WT races in Canada. I've waited to report the first one now so I could also give you the results in the Vuelta.
Jurgen wasn't able to get a stage win, but ended up on an 8th place GC, due to his consistent attacks and top 10-places.
GC - Vuelta
1 | Rigoberto Uran | Sky Pro Cycling | 81h58'09 | | 2 | David De la Fuente | Caja Rural | + 20 | | 3 | Thomas De Gendt | Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team | + 1'30 | | 4 | Jakob Fuglsang | Radioshack Nissan Trek | + 1'44 | | 5 | Juan José Cobo Acebo | Movistar Team | + 2'09 | | 6 | Tiago Machado | Radioshack Nissan Trek | + 2'32 | | 7 | Alejandro Valverde | Movistar Team | + 3'16 | | 8 | Jurgen Van den Broeck | Lotto-Belisol | + 4'24 | IanButler | 9 | Janez Brajkovic | Astana Pro Team | + 6'08 | | 10 | Igor Anton | Euskaltel Euskadi | + 6'09 | | 11 | Chris Froome | Sky Pro Cycling | + 6'10 | | 12 | Ryder Hesjedal | Team Garmin-Barracuda | + 8'52 | | 13 | Francis De Greef | Lotto-Belisol | + 11'22 | IanButler |
Uran also won the Points Jersey, while Valverde took the KoM jersey home.
And now, Québec:
Jelle came here to win, and nothing else.
Bart De Clerq was part of the breakaway.
But as always, the breakaway got caught and at 12km before the finish, Jelle launched a surprise attack.
Nobody had an answer and he wins in Québec!
I set myself up as lead-out for Meersman.
Result
1 | Jelle Vanendert | Lotto-Belisol | 5h20'26 | IanButler | 2 | Philippe Gilbert | BMC Racing Team | + 2'33 | | 3 | Sep Vanmarcke | Team Argos-Shimano | s.t. | | 4 | Gianni Meersman | Lotto-Belisol | s.t. | IanButler | 5 | Alessandro Ballan | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | | 6 | Niki Terpstra | Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team | s.t. | | 7 | Eric Lombaerts | Lotto-Belisol | s.t. | IanButler | 8 | Sylvain Chavanel | Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team | s.t. | | 9 | Pierrick Fédrigo | FDJ-BigMat | s.t. | | 10 | Yury Trofimov | Katusha Team | s.t.
Well, I did one place better than last year, so great! If I keep this up, I'll win it in 7 years.
Jelle may well have just given the team the final points we needed to win the UCI Team Ranking! We're currently in front of BMC, with only 2 more WT events to come!

@Miguel98: Thanks
@JuanMotr: He finally does Good for him.
@PCM rulezz: Thanks. Yeah, it was a bit strange. He had a good breakaway mid-Vuelta, which put him at about 5 minutes behind the leader. Then he managed to stay there and in the final stage (Madrid) he got into a breakaway that made it to the finish with more than 4 minutes in front of the peloton. |

GP de Montréal
I can tell you what happened in three lines:
Gilbert escaped.
Gilbert won.
Jelle won the sprint for the 2nd place (here he goes again with his 2nd place)
As you may sense, it was a pretty boring, long, hard day. So I'll see you for the WC TT (I won't report the next two races as they are purely as preparation for the WC)

Tour of Britain
In the first race I noticed the bug that many talk about, about the peloton not getting ready for the sprint. That ended in a stragne result. So I decided to quick-sim the rest of the Tour of Britain, because the results are more realistic then. (Adam Blythe winning 2nd stage is more realistic)
Hi, I'm reporting back from Belgium. I wasn't able to report anything in Britain because our hotel didn't have internet! Can you believe that? I didn't know that still existed, hotels without internet.
Anyway, this Tour of Britain turned out amazing for me, truly, truly, truly amazing!
I started a bit on the wrong foot, but by the 5th stage, I finally got back on track and won that stage! I was 2nd the day after and the 7th stage I won again!
I rode a decent final time trial and because of all the bonification seconds, I came out on top overall! I was also able to take the Points Jersey and of course the White Jersey home!
What an adventure this year's been! Unfortunately, Tour Franco-Belge has been cancelled because of some problems with the organization, so this was my final race of the season.
We're all anxious for the World Championships, Eric has been included in the final selection of 9 riders! He's also selected for the TT event, so let's pray for a nice result for him there |

Knowing you, I predict Eric will do the double

Yeah, I actually didn't want Stijn winning too much anymore, so I put him as team-mate for Vangenechten. But appearantly he totally ignored my simulation tactics and sprinted for his own account and so he won ToB, filthy SoB
Eric will hardly do the double I predict Cancellara winning WC TT and Gilbert is our leading man for the RR, which he should be able to win, but you never know |

Franco-Belge got "cancelled". I just feel like I need a small break, so I want to get to the end of this season fast, so I didn't feel like riding Franco-Belge. I'm just going to do World Championships and Lombardia (where Eric will ride for Vanendert) and then the season is over. |

World Championship Time Triall
I'm extremely happy to be here, in Firenze. My form isn't what I hoped it'd be, but let's make the best of this day anyway!
I was up second of the four (after Van Den Broeck and before Cornu and De Gendt).
I finished a provisional 2nd! However, the big cannons were yet to come.
De Gendt gave 150% and finished fastest of the Belgians.
But it wasn't enough for gold, silver, bronze and whatever comes next. Millar surprised friend and foe and will wear the beautiful rainbow jersey for a year!
Result
1 | David Millar | Team Garmin-Barracuda | 1h04'02 | | 2 | Tony Martin | Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team | + 2 | | 3 | Luke Durbridge | Orica-GreenEDGE | + 7 | | 4 | Fabian Cancellara | BMC Racing Team | + 15 | | 5 | Bradley Wiggins | Sky Pro Cycling | + 28 | | 6 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Pro Cycling | + 55 | | 7 | Thomas De Gendt | Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team | + 1'10 | | 8 | Timofey Kritskiy | Katusha Team | + 1'18 | | 9 | Adriano Malori | Lampre-ISD | + 1'20 | | 10 | David Zabriskie | Team Garmin-Barracuda | + 1'22 | | 11 | Eric Lombaerts | Lotto-Belisol | + 1'28 | IanButler | 12 | Ricardo Mestre | Carmim - Prio - Tavira | + 1'31 | | 13 | Jurgen Van den Broeck | Lotto-Belisol | + 1'33 | IanButler | 14 | Joost Posthuma | Radioshack Nissan Trek | + 1'34 | | 15 | Stefan Schumacher | Christina Watches - Onfone | s.t.
I'm very exited about my 11th place! I know I can come back here next year and get an even better result! Maybe one day... I'll beat De Gendt! |

Thanks
We had a great time (although personally I really don't like those two races in Canada, my water-carriers always bail on me midway the race because of the constant going up the hill, so I have to use semi-favorites to get water, like Lombaerts or Meersman) |
