So the "normal" CT team got about 400-500k, the "normal" PCT team got about 1,5 mill and the "normal" PT team got about 2 mill. Sounds about right to me

You mean budgets rights? As otherwise they'd all be over cap
Anyway, looks like I'm in the bottom half budget wise, but that should mean I'm able to make my goals. That is if I'm smart in the transfers ofc.

All former D2 teams are in the bottom half of PCT

Yeah, I always see it as "wage-cap"+spending money. So I'm talking about spending money here :-p
I guess that the lowest teams in PCT are the new teams + teams doing really bad last year (goalwise). Actually, I'm pretty sure it would be impossible for a new team to have the top budgets (I THINK I know who got the highest budget in PCT, but I'm not sure)

Yep, i'm the most confident CT team apparently!
Hopefully it should pay off though, as now i can afford all my targets and more
Bring on transfers!!!

It remains to be proved whether that small amount of extra money translates into riders of the quality needed to fulfill the significantly harder goals.
Even 300k difference can be easily levelled by negotiation skill and luck in picking the right riders, and that's only about transferred riders anyway.

I reckon I probably was the most ambitious of the ex-D2 managers, and I'm happy with my budget. It'll probably all go on one rider, but the saving in wages should justify it. |

So you are sure Napolitano will go for a small wage?
I was aiming low, because Metinvest is going for a long way of prosperity. Lets see what path is better, but i suppose transfer season is also about luck.

One thing that came to my mind, i am not sure with: There is a maximum of possible 20 active bids for the free agents. So i suppose transfer bids are not counted for this limit, it is only for free agents? I think it doesn not count, but i better ask.

It's just with free agents.
20 may seem like a generous number but it should be noted that 'active bids' do not mean 'bids you are currently leading'. It means bids that are still active and not sealed for which you have bid on at some stage.
It is therefore important to try and keep track on riders you have bid on and also be sure that you really wish to bid on a rider before you do.

Thanks and yeah, i know now, because i was the moron who exceeded the limit last year because of not counting bids i was not leading.
And 20 seems generous, but i would like something like 30 with my shortlist.
I feel like many of them will be overbid fast.

Thats when tactic and patience come into play My shortlist is pretty big aswell, but I prioritize it, so I got some riders I want to buy first, then if they get too expensive I go down the list

So a bid is no longer active after 48 hours? |

If there has been no other bids the last 48 hours, it will be sealed and the rider will go to the last bidder. (If the bid is valid, that is.) |

As Bjartne said, if you have bid on a rider it is seen as an active bid until that rider is signed and sealed.

It worked last year as well.
Just plan your biddings carefully. |
