Tirreno - Adriatico :: Stage 2
The second day. Everyone will look at Cavendish, Boonen, Greipel and Kittel now.
Let's just hope Kittel survives the hills!
The day goes by easily for me. I help Kittel survive the mountains and get in line with the sprinters to avoid time loss.
Most of the team dropped out of the peloton, unfortunately, so there was just me to lead out Kittel.
I definitely didn't have my Strade Bianchi legs today, but I did a fairly good job, I think.
Bennati thought he had made his first of the season, but trying to celebrate, he gets beaten on the line by Mark Cavendish. Kittel is a strong fourth.
I think I'm in good shape for Milan and the cobbled classics. But Kittel still needs some extra shape, soon, because San Remo is looming. If he wants to survive those hills, he'll need to be in perfect shape!

Stupid mistake from Bennati
I hope Kittel finds some extra form soon

It's difficult not to be happy when you're surrounded by Belgians. - Mark Cavendish

rogvi97 - Thanks a lot
FreitasPCM - Thanks, it won't be easy, though. There isn't a single mountain race, only hilly races, and Willy's MO stat is much higher than his HILL stat, so he'll have to count on his great shape and the final 15 km TT
sutty68 - Well, I spend quite some time on the computer (both for PCM and school), so if someone else here wants an exceptional turn, I can't find it in my heart to turn them down
Like I said, next stage probably today, preferably tonight, since my new ps3 game just arrived, going to break it in right now |

Speaking of Zombies, the Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition really got me going, so I'm afraid I'll have to postpone the next stage to tomorrow |

As promised, thanks for your patience!
Tirreno - Adriatico :: Stage 3
A tough finish where we'll definitely see some GC changes. Let's hope it's in the right direction for Willy.
Looking at Willy's form and position, both Seeldraeyers and Kruijswijk didn't object to working for him in this Tirreno.
I must say I'd forgotten how hard races in the World Tour are. The pace is constantly high and the hills are just painful for us sprinters and classics riders.
Today was for Willy, not for me!
I felt pretty good, and I thought it might be wise to use that form to put some pressure on other riders. Seeldraeyers did some great work for me.
The peloton was reduced quickly.
Andy Schleck and Valverde were extremely strong and were able to escape. I organized the hunt myself.
I developed a strong, fast pace, thanks to the consistent slope. Sprinting I even got closer to the two leaders, but when Valverde started his sprint, I knew I was going for third place.
Though in the end it was Schleck who used the slipstream to take the win!
This is a great result for me! I'm not on the podium. However, I'm a realist, so I still have the top 10 as my goal here. Anything better would just be amazing.
