Besides winning one.
Simon Clarke and Antonio Piedra won a mountain stage in the 2012 Vuelta.
Andrey Amador and Matteo Rabottini won a mountain stage in the 2012 Giro d'Italia.
Thor Hushovd and Edvald Boasson Hagen won a mountain stage in the 2011 Tour de France.
Bart De Clercq won a mountain stage in the 2011 Giro d'Italia.
Brice Feillu won a mountain stage in the 2009 Tour de France.
These guys don't deserve 78 MO either, your argument is invalid.
All from a break. Martin beat the favourites straight up.
But he did so, because he is a very punchy rider in a rather flat finish and with 77 he will be capable doing this ingame.
No he won't. But I do agree on the sprint stat. |

78 MO, 77 HIL would be alright for Dan Martin atm.
I'd say the other way around, 77MO 78HL
Clearly his best results are the hilly classics, and he hasn't had a major MO result since 2011
+1
Agreed. That's what I say too And cmon he won Vuelta Cataluna where all the "big" guys where not in good shape .

Because Dan is aiming for these classics, rather than the Giro (i believe)

Why would Scarponi , Wiggins or Pozzovivo give a damn for vuelta Cataluna .Or J-rod and Moreno who showed that they targeted to peak 1 month after this race . Ok. Martin is doing well in Ardennes and also won in cataluna , but again my thougths : not so strong competition and he is better on short climbs than on mountains .

A lot of the Giro guys were going for classics as well. Purito not a threat? |

Dont forget Martin went in a solo breakaway and the peloton was too lazy to pursue him until it was too late and he won Vuelta Cataluna beacuse of that Gap. |

But when he attacked they were like less than half a minute from the peleton. They were in range. Then he held on for all the other stages. |

Amador too should get an update. Cobble update. More rider's should get an update. Antoine Lavieu should get an MO and HIL update after his 21st at Criterium International, + Omar Fraile should also get an update, together with Maxim Razumov, who rode a really awesome Tour of Sochi, only getting beaten in the GC by Buts. |

Im not saying he doesnt deserve an update but he won catalunya mostly beacuse of that Gap when he went in that breakaway. In Stage 3 for example he didnt go in a breakawy and was 32 seconds behind Quintana in a Mountain Stage finish. There were only 2 Mountain Stage finish and in the one he was with the other favorites he lost time.
Quintana, Betancur, Talansky, Martin, Spilak and Kwiatkowski needs and update and new Sprint Stats!!!

And please Statmakers consider lowering stats for riders who have been sucking for more than a year and dont keep waiting to lower stats from 80 to 76 or something like that, beacuse u are waiting to see how they performs in they big goals. For some riders is more than evident that they are sucking and they will keep sucking and dont deserves their stats, because of age or lack of results. |

Now we're talking of climbers with too high sprint stats, what's up with froome 66 sprint?? that is better than some of the very good finishers among the climbers like mollema or martin and it is only one point lower than cancellara? Yes, he (Froome) is pretty explosive on mountains, but he never showed anything in a sprint, besides barely beating contador in Oman, who wasn't even in very good shape. I think 63 would be appropriate. |
