Shaun Lewis helping with a chase
Jaime Suaza has had enough of being in the peleton and attacks to go and try to catch the break up the road
Its not long before he joins the three leaders
Suaza is looking good for the time being
Approaching the one kilometre to go banner and Suaza has gone clear
And he has done it, what a great victory for both Jaime Suaza and the team

Its with a great big smile on my face that i can report our first victory of the season which came courtesy of Jaime Suaza here in Italy.
He now has a healthy lead on the GC and so the rest of the team will now have to ride and support him to try and keep the leaders jersey until the end |

Unfortunately Eddie Stobart are failing to keep control of the peleton and lots of riders escape up the road
Suaza is now on his own with no team mates for support
Noooooo, Suaza is in trouble
Suaza now in a group over two minutes behind the leaders on the road
The Colombian is still chasing
Suaza eventually crosses the line in 47th place losing 4' 33 and the race lead

I just cannot believe that Jaime Suaza was involved in another crash that hampers him from challenging for the Overall race victory.
He was feeling good this morning as well and was really looking forward to doing battle in the mountains.
Hopefully this bad luck will leave him alone now and he can show us all what he is made of |
