Good to see this story moving again! Is my rider still at Topsport?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yes. O'Malley races for Topsport, and this will move. Slowly.

And it is a b-e-a-utiful day out in the deserts here!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0003_zps8ecd7624.jpg
After many attempts, Hermans(Topsport) and Konovalovas(MTN) escape.

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0004_zpsa8f86953.jpg
As the finish draws closer, AG2R and Bridgestone move up and start.

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0005_zps967a316c.jpg
Some teams are also moving up their leadout men, including Team U25, with 6 men in the top 35 or so.

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0006_zps4f4394dd.jpg
Just a little further now for the bunch, as the sprint trains are starting to think about victory.

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0007_zpsf0e0d798.jpg
Konovalovas is caught, and the trains are coming forward. Bridgestone should be the deciding factor for Cavendish, but Team U25 may have other plans for Pye.

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0008_zps8d62e9e4.jpg
Hermans is caught at 10 kilometers away, and Team U25 has the only established train! Lampre and Bridgestone are nearly absent from the front!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0009_zps998ee925.jpg
Just 5 kilometers to go now, and the pace is blistering! Just a little further for what weak trains are around!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0010_zps9129ca30.jpg
So 4 trains emerge at the front! Lampre, Team U25, Bridgestone, and Argos will lead this race into Al Wukair. Bridgestone looks very powerful with Hondo on the front, but Napolitano is driving for Lampre! Argos is looking to lag a bit under Timmer, so Kreder takes over, as Team U25 has a communication error and slows down!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0011_zps02810064.jpg
A massive pull by Bakker brings Team U25 right back to the front! Hutarovich(Bridgestone) leads under the banner, but Kreder is bringing up Degenkolb! Greipel has fallen back a little, but Lampre is still in it!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0012_zps7c37b469.jpg
Cavendish bursts out of the pack to take over the lead! Greipel is right behind in the far right lane with Markus(Lampre) fading in to the pack, as Pye is surging towards the line in the center! Degenkolb has moved to the outside and is trying to nip Pye as they come to the line, and Renshaw(Drapac), despite having no leadout has locked into the wheel of Greipel in attempt at a last-second lunge!

i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0013_zps2806acf8.jpg
But Cav strikes again! The Missile gets another win for Bridgestone, and Greipel slips in for second, with Pye just snatching a magnificent third!

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Well, we've been good so far! Let's keep up the good work, and then maybe, just maybe, something will be waiting at the end of Qatar. Wink

Well-it's been too long. Life is too stressful, and I haven't been around, but I'm coming back soon. Expect a new report over the weekend. Smile

Tour of Qatar, Stage 4

Pye will spearhead the peleton toward Madinat Al Shamal.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0001_zps00333a18.jpg

The break is fairly strong today, and so is the wind. Devenyns, Maes, and a few peons will build the front 5.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0002_zps98d0bb8b.jpg

By the 25km to go mark, Maes had won every sprint, and the break gave in to the insanity of the pack.
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0003_zps5d2fc87e.jpg

Chaos erupts throughout the front, and only 41 riders are in the pack at this time!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0004_zps8afd8ff6.jpg

O'Grady will lead us under the 5km banner! Victory is close approaching for one rider!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0005_zps4f4f59b8.jpg

Cav may be having some trouble in the Top 15 group now!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0006_zps326a1156.jpg

Renshaw will be the first to kick with Greipel in his wheel! Pye is out of gas and begins to drop! Cav comes back to hold on, and Boasson Hagen(Allianz) is trying to keep wheel!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0007_zpsac11df65.jpg

Cav jumps out of the 3, and Greipel tries to follow! Renshaw doesn't have it and begins to fall! It's a 2-man fight for stage 4!
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0008_zps19c4333a.jpg

Greipel launches out from 1km, and starts coming around Cav on the left! Could this be the day The Manx Missile loses perfection?
i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Nick_Thrasher/PCM0009_zpsad0fb8e4.jpg

It is! Victory for Andre Greipel!
