I wonder if he quits now, or still ride the last few crosses. From what I've heard from people who visited the race, the Belgian 'supporters' where being assholes again. |

Boom won't start wednesday(Maldegem) and thursday(Hasselt) cause he has the flu.
He will also start his road season in may, will ride Frankfurt, the Tour of Belgium, Tour of Suisse as preparation for the National Championship of NL.
Then he will take a bit of rest and will ride everything in function of the prologue of the Vuelta.

No, if it was Stybar who said that in advance, nobody would care. It's just the Belgian minority complex they have against the Netherlands. So when a Dutch guy says he is going to try to win the world championships, it's war, certainly when it's a regional Belgian sport like Cyclo-Cross.
Then they turn into bad winners. It's sad really.
You wouldn't see a Dutch guy posting with an anti-Nys sig after he lost another world championship. Simply because we're not pathetic losers. |
