World Port Classics - Stage 1
The second edition of this race. This is a stage race for the sprinters, so I was present, and with the form I'm going on lately, I should be able to do something here.
Willems was in the breakaway of the day and scores the only KoM points to be earned today, nice job!
The peloton moved slowly and the breakaway only got caught at 3.5km from the finish, close call!
I started my sprint a bit late but as we headed into the final turn, I could already picture myself on the podium! Nobody of the favorites was well-positioned. Degenkolb, Kittel... They were all in the middle of the peloton.
And Lotto-Belisol takes the 1-2! I win, Jonas Vangenechten sprints to a nice 2nd place.

World Port Classics - Stage 2
Welcome to stage 2 of this young race.
Today was a boring race for the viewers at home, as you probably already saw on the tv. The whole day long you didn't see anything but this:
5km before the KoM sprint, Willems jumped out of the peloton and secured his jersey! A nice thing for him to take home.
My legs aren't nearly as good as yesterday and I feel a massive shortcoming in the sprint. Pelucchi wins, I end up 7th.

Well, this kind of makes me wish I participates in the intermediate sprint, seeing how that would've made me the winner of both the GC and the Points Jersey... I'll never make that mistake again.

Today was all about getting back into shape and hopefully squeeze out a win for Jelle Vanendert.
A riding legend was in the attack: Jens Voigt. How he keeps on doing it, I have no idea!
On the third climb of the day, Jelle told me to give full gas.
We were both gone and had two riders chasing us, but together we would surely make the finish!
But fate, or better yet, a small rock on the side of the road, decided otherwise.
My race stopped right there and then.
Jelle hesitated as he saw that it was pretty bad, and that cost him his win. Sella sped along and Jelle got back on his back, coming in second.
