Gustav Larsson will stay at CSC-Saxo Bank. They made a counter-offer and he accepted.
Today, in Swedish paper Smålandsposten, he says that he's still undecided.
Other news:
- Evans has said that Silence will now be looking for a replacement for Kohl. Could be Larsson, maybe?
- Contador welcomes Vinokourov at Astana - after all, he's done his time (right, 1 year ...).
- Thomas and Rasmus Guldhammer joins Capinordic (previously GLS). |

You clearly missed the point.
Larsson is nowhere near Kohl's level at the last Tour, so it's funny that he would be signed as replacement. See?

Sure, I see that. He wouldn't be a top 3 Tour de France-replacement, but ... |

That's not pedro's point. Kohl was about to be a much better signing than Larsson could ever be. |

I can't tell whether you are agreeing with me or not, I do understand that be and pedro''s points of veiw are not mutually exclusive however. |

Team Matxin survives.
Confirmed managers for the project are Matxin, Gianetti and Alvaro Crespi. Giorgio Squinzi has been rumoured as possible D.S.
Public relations for the new team: Paolo Bettini. Relatively sure signing: Rebellin.
Sponsors: 99% sure Mapei + a Mexican one. |

With Team Maxtin being what was previously called Scott - American Beef?
If that's the case, I suppose the Mexican sponsor is ... American Beef |

Nope, the Mexican sponsor will be neither American Beef nor Vuelta a Chihuahua. It's gonna be a new one, and probably supported by the signing of... Raúl Alcalá

Yes, of course. Josean Fernández "Matxin" is the manager, along with Gianetti. |
