First time reading of the story, had to quickly skim read to catch up but love the concept! Especially how the readers can interact with the story development. Keep up the good work!

Whether or not Magnus Cort Nielsen was being a hypocrite (he was), I decide to take the high road and let the criticism roll off my back. It's too early in my career to turn the peloton against me. I'll be the scapegoat if that's what they want.
And, to be honest, cutting across multiple cyclists on a twisty downhill to the finish was quite dangerous on my part. Sometimes it just feels like I'm invincible on my bike, and I have to make more calculated decisions for my own safety.
Race Day #7 at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
Spoiler
Summary: Mads Pedersen goes solo in the final 15kms and the 18-cyclist chase group wasn't able to reel him back in.
Result: 16th - Was struggling with about 20kms to go, but was able to make it back to the main chase group after they started looking around at each other when Pedersen attacked. I'm clearly not in form right now.

Race Day #8 at Le Samyn Always a confidence boost when you're listed as a favourite.
Spoiler
Summary: Loic Vliegen wins the sprint to the line after getting away with Thomas De Gendt in the final 10kms. The chasers pulled back the gap but couldn't make the pass before the line.
Result: 9th - Probably could have followed Vliegen's winning move, but I liked my chances better in a sprint. I had some capable teammates around me with SEG Racing Academy putting five cyclists in the top 25: me (9th), Nico Denz (13th), Lucy van der Haar (14th), Niklas Markl (15th) and Patrick Van Der Duin (21st).

- There is a threshold for each stat when more points are needed to increase that stat. It's start off on a 1-to-1 scale where 1 point equals 1 stat upgrade. However, the scales get exponentially further and further apart the closer that stat gets to the maximum of 85. The increasing scale will also remain a mystery.

Stat Lock: Marcus Diamond took a step back from his usual aggressive nature on the bike this month and it will cost him a stat lock. Any attribute that doesn't receive at least 3.0 points is at-risk of being locked.

Shame Marcus doesn't seem to be in good shape in these early classics, hopefully this is him just managing his peak correctly and some of those getting results now won't be as strong as him come Roubaix or RVV.

I've firmly earned my spot in the Starting XI with Feyenoord, but that doesn't mean I can't find myself back on the bench with a few poor starts. The season is coming to an end and I want to be on the pitch in these important games.
KNVB Beker Cup vs. FC Oss Semifinals: Third-tier Oss looking for one more upset to reach the final.
Spoiler Feyenoord 4, FC Oss 1
Summary: Feyenoord is having none of this Cinderella story. Four goals on 27 shots sends Feyenoord to the KNVB Beker Cup Final for the sixth time in the last eight seasons. They will face fierce rival Ajax in the final.
Rating: 6.4 - Good job boys, glad you didn't need my assistance.
Player of Game: Abdulkadir Omur, Feyenoord (9.0)
Match Day #26 at VVV (7-10-8) A draw from Ajax means a win here would put us top of the league table.
Spoiler Feyenoord 2, VVV 0
Summary: Abdulkadir Omur, a 23-year-old Turkish winger, continues his run of form with a pair of first-half goals to lift Feyenoord over VVV. That's goals in three straight games for Omur.
Rating: 6.8 - I must be doing some good things if we keep winning.
Player of Game: Abdulkadir Omur, Feyenoord (9.1)
Match Day #27 vs. Excelsior (8-11-7) The team is going for win No. 10 in a row. Crazy.
Spoiler Feyenoord 4, Excelsior 1
Summary: Excelsior tried to scare Feyenoord with the opening goal four minutes in, but Feyenoord wasn't fazed and responded with four goals to keep its winning streak alive and well.
Rating: 8.5 - Headed in a back post goal (yes, headed) and assisted the goal by Nick Foss in the first half. Happy to get involved again, especially doing so in just 75 minutes of action. That's goal No. 3 and assist No. 4 in Eredivisie league play this season.
Player of Game: Marcus Diamond, Feyenoord (8.5)
Match Day #28 at Ajax (18-4-5) The two best teams in the country square off for the league lead.
Spoiler Feyenoord 3, Ajax 3
Summary: The most anticipated match of the season lives up to the billing and some. Feyenoord jumped out to a 2-0 lead and had Ajax on the ropes up 2-1 heading into the final 15 minutes at the Johan Cruyff Arena. Then, Abdulkadir Omur received a controversial second yellow card and was sent off.
Ajax did the impossible and scored twice to surge into the lead 3-2. But, just when the home supporters thought Ajax was heading back to the top of the table, Nick Foss buried a sublime counter-attack goal for Feyenoord on the final kick of the game.
A 10-man draw in front of the largest Eredivisie crowd of the season keeps Feyenoord ahead of Ajax by a single point with six games left.
Rating: 6.3 - Not sure what was worse, my performance or having to watch the craziness of the final minutes from the bench after being subbed off in the 79th minute. Pumped we somehow got out of here with a draw. We still control our destiny in defending the league title.
Player of Game: Gonzalo Fernandez, Ajax (8.3)
International Friendly vs. Ghana First game of the new year for the No. 23-ranked Super Eagles.
Spoiler Nigeria 2, Ghana 0
Summary: Ghana, No. 34-ranked, is no pushover and Nigeria holds them to a single shot on target. The midfield linkup play with Marcus Diamond and John Hamzat is a challenge to contain.
Rating: 8.3 - Put an exclamation point on the victory with my second career international goal in the 78th minute.
Player of Game: Marcus Diamond, Nigeria (8.3)

+6.5 Decisions
Marcus has had a good time recently getting a couple of goals, hopefully his performance against Ajax won't get repeated too soon though. And it's really nice to see Feyenoord competing for 2 trophies, I just hope the pressure doesn't effect him if he plays in any more key games, he needs to do better on the big occasions than he did in the 3-3 draw.

Really exciting time for the club and by extension Marcus with dual duels against Ajax, hopefully they can do the double, would be an awesome career moment. Good to see a couple of MotM performances, hopefully the consistency can come as he looks to finish the season strong and help the team to some silverware - and nail down a starting role for next season.

Ready or not, seven cobbled one-day races ahead for the month of March.
Hopefully, these rides can help build up the form I need to the tackle the major classics coming up next month, as I'll be making my first appearance at the Ronde Van Vlaanderen, Paris-Roubaix and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Hard to believe.
Race Day #9 at Dwars door West-Vlaanderen Alex Vogel won here last year, but the team is going with me this time.
Spoiler
Summary: With 7kms left, there are seven late attackers challenging the remaining peloton. A lot of decent cobblers in this group looking to upset the sprinters who have survived in the peloton.
Although, they haven't been able to shake off either Marcus Diamond or Bert Van Lerberghe. Both have a decent kick to them.
It looks like one of these seven will win today. The peloton can't seem to work together and have fallen a minute behind with 3kms left.
It is Van Lerberghe opening the sprint.
Moving out of Van Lerberghe's slipstream is Diamond!
It's a brilliant win for the Brit. Timed the sprint to perfection, and was daring enough to follow the late attackers to even be in this front group.
Result: 1st - You want more aggressive riding, well there you have it. What a win! I picked up where Alex Vogel left off and SEG Racing Academy has now won this race in back-to-back seasons. Anything she can do, I can do better. (Don't tell her I said that.)
1 | Marcus Diamond | SEG Racing Academy | 5h22'18 | 2 | Maikel Zijlaard | Amazon | s.t. | 3 | Baddrol Rizal | Trek - Segafredo | s.t. | 4 | Guillaume Van Keirsbulck | CAP48 | s.t. | 5 | Bert Van Lerberghe | Cofidis, Solutions Crédits | s.t. |
Race Day #10 at Ronde van Drenthe Teaming up with Alex Vogel for this one. Dream team back together.
Spoiler
Summary: Crash with 13.5kms remaining cuts the peloton down to 39 hopefuls gunning for the win. Some big names being left behind in the rubble are Taylor Phinney, Thomas Pidcock and Alex Vogel.
American female sprinter Coryn Rivera takes the victory in a sprint.
Result: 7th - Teammate Niklas Markl took third, so this was a good showing from SEG. Would have been even better had Alex Vogel not crashed, but at least she walked away with no long-term injuries.
1 | Coryn Rivera | Véranda's Willems - Crelan | 4h42'44 | 2 | Alan Banaszek | Direct Energie | s.t. | 3 | Niklas Märkl | SEG Racing Academy | s.t. | 4 | Daniel Hoelgaard | Groupama - FDJ | s.t. | 5 | Michael Kolar | SRAM | s.t. |
Race Day #11 at Danilith Nokere Koerse I've raced here twice before with my best finish being sixth in 2020.
Spoiler
Summary: Nathan Van Hooydonck going for an attack in the final 8kms. Marcus Diamond thought about going with him, but eventually decided against it and dropped back to the peloton to help team sprinter Niklas Markl. Interesting choice or maybe he didn't have the legs to follow.
Well, Van Hooydonck made the right move and holds off the sprinters for the solo win. Diamond will be kicking himself for not following the winning move.
Result: 11th - This one hurts. Gotta trust my gut more.
1 | Nathan Van Hooydonck | Team Dimension Data | 4h47'56 | 2 | Christophe Noppe | Véranda's Willems - Crelan | + 9 | 3 | Alexis Gougeard | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | 4 | Guillaume Van Keirsbulck | CAP48 | s.t. | 5 | Lasse Norman Hansen | Trek - Segafredo | s.t. |
Race Day #12 at Driedaagse De Panne-Koksijde SEG brought a handful of sprinters here so I should target a late attack.
Spoiler
Summary: We pick up the action with 18kms to go and six cyclists have gone clear off the front in the last few kilometers. These late attacks include some big names: Wout Van Aert, Patrick Mueller, Marcus Diamond, Amanda Spratt, Aaron Verwilst and Mads Wurtz Schmidt.
This front group has built up 1'20" lead with 10kms left. They worked extremely well together and have given themselves a shot at the win. But when does teamwork derail and everybody fights for their own chance.
We get to 2.5kms to go before Muller decides to make the first move.
Spratt was having none of that and easily shows that she was the fastest sprinter left in the group. She simply had an extra gear.
Result: 4th - Picked out the winning move, not enough speed to keep up at the end. A solid result nonetheless.
1 | Amanda Spratt | Team Dimension Data | 4h37'21 | 2 | Aaron Verwilst | Quick-Step Floors | s.t. | 3 | Patrick Müller | CAP48 | s.t. | 4 | Marcus Diamond | SEG Racing Academy | s.t. | 5 | Mads Würtz Schmidt | Liquigas | s.t. |
Race Day #13 at Record Bank E3-Harelbeke No repeat winner here since Fabian Cancellara won in 2010 & 2011.
Spoiler
Summary: Wet, miserable day sees Amanda Spratt win a second race in two days. Fine form she is in right now.
Result: 20th - Got left behind rather early and led home the third group on the road a little over three minutes behind Spratt.
1 | Amanda Spratt | Team Dimension Data | 5h01'26 | 2 | Sonny Colbrelli | Bahrain - Merida | s.t. | 3 | Loïc Vliegen | Amazon | s.t. | 4 | Amund Grøndahl Jansen | Ziggo | s.t. | 5 | Timo Roosen | Ziggo | s.t. |
Race Day #14 at Gent-Wevelgem Strap in, we got a long 245.1kms ahead.
Spoiler
Summary: The peloton hits the cobbles on the Kemmelberg climb with just a minute deficit to the three-cyclist morning breakaway. We have 75kms to go, but everything has gone pretty smoothly so far.
The peloton shrinks down to 39 cyclists after multiple late attacks wouldn't stick, so a selective bunch sprint goes to a photo finish with Arnaud Demare edging out Rick Zabel on the line.
Result: 36th - Followed two late attack from Peter Sagan that didn't pay off, as a result, not much energy left for the final sprint. Happy to finish in the front group though.
1 | Arnaud Démare | Groupama - FDJ | 6h09'11 | 2 | Rick Zabel | Team Sunweb | s.t. | 3 | Dylan Groenewegen | Ziggo | s.t. | 4 | Rémi Cavagna | Cofidis, Solutions Crédits | s.t. | 5 | Caleb Ewan | Lotto Soudal | s.t. |
Race Day #15 at Dwars door Vlaanderen Some flooding of the course pushed this race back two days.
Spoiler
Summary: Plenty of puddles and the rain has started again, but the race organizers have deemed the course to be safe enough to race. Some cyclists obviously disagree, but no turning back now.
Regardless, the result probably remained the same as Amanda Spratt continues her dominate showing in the month of March with another win.
Result: 19th - Got shuffled out of the front group and spend the rest of the evening trying to catch up. I finished six minutes behind Spratt.

Spoiler - Each member gets 4.0 points to spread however they like over the 13 attributes listed above. One post per member.
- Stats work on a decimal system starting at 55.0.
- Stats are bumped up in PCM when they hit that number, ex. 55.9 = 55 in-game, and 61.4 = 61 stat in-game.
- The decimal numbers will remain hidden.
- Comment below to provide stat upgrades

+4 COB, let's try and get him on the favourites list when the big boys show up, his hill stat must mean he isn't far off getting on it for something like RVV.

Agree, that's probably the most important one for the moment. Can try to boost hill later in the season. With Rec and TT locked, stage races definitely aren't the main target any more, so let's increase his chances for the classics.
