Classic Hamburg
Another probable mass sprint. Here's my final chance of picking up some UCI-points as well.
At the 2km from the finish, I was a little boxed in.
I tried to fight my way through the others, but it wasn't easy.
Finally I found a way, I ended up on the podium, second place. A good result in a WT race!

Tour of Denmark
A stage race with 5 sprints and a (short) time trial. I had high hopes as the start list shouldn't have been much of a problem. I was and still am in a great shape so my goal here was not modest: at least a stage win, top 10, Points Jersey and White Jersey.
Stage 1
There goes my lead-out train again, with Bak, Stannard, Vandenbergh, Willems, Vangenechten...
They crush the peloton and lead me out perfectly.
I win the first stage by a comfortable marge! Looks like the opposition has a rough couple of days coming.

Stage 2
Another sprint. Another perfect lead-out for me.

Well, this was a major success!
I got 3 stage wins, the points jersey, white jersey, overall GC. We also took home the Team Classification. This is my first stage race that I win and I couldn't be more thrilled!
However, we did expect a stronger competition here, no offence to anyone here. But it's great for the morale and this lead-out is becoming one of the strongest in the peloton!
See you for the second edition of the World Port Classics!
