This is the internet. How dare you bring logic in here?

Valverde wins stage 2 of the Pais Vasco, Freire 2nd...
Why is Freire wearing a white jersey?
Edit:
1. Alejandro Valverde - Caisse d'Epargne
2. Oscar Freire - Rabobank
3. Francesco Gavazzi - Lampre
4. Michael Albasini - Columbia
5. Samuel Sanchez - Euskaltel
6. Ryder Hesjedal - Garmin

Watching the replay, I really hope Valverde gets DQ'd it would really make my day.

Class by Freire: "I won't protest, because it is the same sprint as yesterday". Making his point to the jury and sore loser Valverde as well

Dont get me wrong but Valverde today, from the complete right of the road to the complete left and then back to middle right again then a wave shortly before finish.Sprinting in a straight line can only happen in lab conditions.
Good to see Freire is no whiner like Valverde yesterday and did shake hands. |

Nah, Valverde shouldn't be disqualified. The only illegal thing of his sprint is himself and his presence there.
And the white jersey is because he's 2nd in the points classification. As the leader is Piti, he wears the jersey. |

According to procyclinglive on twitter:
"But Freire won't protest, he confirms. "It's the same sprint as yesterday". Making his point there"
Impressive by Hesjedal who tried to go solo at 1km remaining.
EDIT: But if he was relegated to the back of the group yesterday, didn't he lose the points as well?

Which part of attacking with Wiggins and a Caisse rider is a solo move?

What was up with Wiggins after the pack caught them? He nearly stopped and it was just luck that noone crashed right into him (as far as I saw it)... |

Well, technically it's not wrong saying he tried to go solo |

Succes for Caisse in France, as LL Sanchez wins the first stage of the Circuit de la Sarthe, after attacking in the last kilometre. He just managed to stay in front of the sprinters.
Circuit de la Sarthe, stage 1
1. Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse d'Epargne) ESP
2. Marko Kump (Adria Mobil) SLO
3. Anthony Ravard (Ag2r - La Mondiale) FRA
4. Sébastien Chavanel (Française des Jeux) FRA
5. Fabien Bacquet (BigMat - Auber 93) FRA

Glad to see Hesjedal trying his luck and he's up there with some big names and a doper or 2.

I could give my opinion about Valverde not being relegated today, but I'll just quote Pinotti
"no credibility award" is going to be won hands down

I thought the Tour of California couldn't possibly become less interesting.
Then the list of teams showed up
Here's who's riding:
Radioshack: everyone they have.
Saxo Bank: Andy "I'm just here to roll around in the pack" Schleck and Cancellara
Columbia: Cavendish and Rogers
Garmin: Maybe Zabriskie. Maybe.
Rabobank: Probably no one worth mentioning
Lampre: no one worth mentioning
BMC: Hincapie
Liquigas: no one worth mentioning
Quickstep: no one worth mentioning
Cervélo: no one worth mentioning
And a rag tag bunch of misfits from american continental teams.
Also, the race "expanding" and "becoming more important" and all that crap.....it'll have less teams than last year.
It's so awesome, it'll feature such amazing teams as Spidertech!........wow. I can't wait....

So Radioshack have all their climbers and Columbia have a sprint chain. I haven't seen the stages but what is the split going to be?
I reckon Columbia wins 4-2 with them somehow allowing a break to get away twice due to the riders not caring enough to chase.

I reckon Cancellara stays with the group in the easy as pie mountain stages, wins the time trial and everyone laughs at Radioshack.

there is one mountain top finish, on stage six. so radioshack should win that stage. and leipheimer would want to win the stage 7 time trial.
there is only 4 'flat' stages so pressure is on columbia for those. but leipheimer should win quite convincingly |
