Took this years first ride. Almost no ice on the roads here in sweden. But in a forest it was 3cm of packed hard ice and there it was close to some falls but i made it through. |

Good ride today, I only did an hour because it looks like it will rain, but I really pushed the pace, and I had two difficult (on second thought, one difficult) climb. I got my new jersey (which is sweet) today, and throw in that my dad left his heating pad so I'm now relaxing my back while playing video games, and It's been a pretty sweet afternoon. |

I had a fun chain gang, and basically rode myself into the ground once more. Just got over a cold, and kept off the bike for 7 days, so now I'm nailing it for about 5 weeks until goal number 1.

Yesterday on my way home from school the wind literally blow me of the road. As there was a really strong wind yesterday here, up to 18 m/s, and when a truck passed me, and screened me from the wind, and just when it passed me, and windblow came, and blew me and my bike out in a newly plowed field, where, I "flew" over the handlesbars Was kinda fun

Anyone know any good tips for reducing the fatigue in your legs after a couple of weeks of hard training. My legs have been dead this week. I know some stuff to recuperate after rides themselves, but what about fatigue from over time? |

Deadpool: a trainin cycle should be 3 weeks hard 1 week easy. In that ine easy week your body grows. Not only are you reducing fatigue by resting you are building muscle as well.
When I refer to a rest week I mean a week were you take it easy not completely off the bike. You need to pick your races and plan for those peak races to be at the end of. The third consecutive week of hard training.

Did a ride today, took me 15 minutes to run out of energy. Wasn't particularly the most amusing ride I've done in a while, crawling around the Cotswolds is not fun at like 12 miles an hour. But still, time on the bike is time on the bike. Was my own fault for not going out on Monday.

Mmmm, but having done over 6 hours on saturday and sunday, not riding monday means my legs lock up. I should have spun them out on monday to help them recover. As it is, I lost today as a good training ride because of it. So I'll have to mash it tomorrow instead. (Gotta love the holidays)

i tend to soak in the bath n rest the muscles in water after a hard day like that it helps wind your body and relax your body and muscles very well. |

got in a quick 30 mile ride and managed to average 20mph so im happy - annoying little headwind but that turned good on the way back
i got held up by people protesting at cars going too fast. one car braked in front of me really hard and i had to brake so hard and stopped just tapping his bumper
it was also controlled gorse burning time of year so i got to ride in a wall of fireB)
