Stage 20
Collado Villalba - Collado Villalba
Final TT before parade stage..
Roesems (15. +56sec.)
Chavanel..blast best time when he crosses finish line (at the end 8. +44)
van den Broeck going for he's main goal..best he can achive is 19th. place..if we looking last stage GC standings..(4. +26sec.)..20. place at the GC ..bingo.
Man who cant van den Broeck defeat..Plaza (13. +53sec. and 19th. at the GC)
When Zabriskie starting to pass check point's he's level is something different he is fastest man at the stage..but there is two riders who is faster then him (3. ´+13sec)
One biggest Vuelta surprises has been Lökvist..he has been great with TT..and even more he can keep up at mountains (strange) (4th. +19sec.)
Vuelta best young rider Gerdemann (20 +1'07)
Now todays main battle Kasechkin against Garate..who's gonna be third Madrid..there is 1'54 between those two..and Kasechkin has chaser..is much much better TT rider..Kasechkin today's time (7th. +41sec.)
Garate..looks hard he keep pushing himself (61. +1'48)..and if we get fresh GC list ..ou that was close Kasechkin was 7sec. to slow..Garate will keep he's 3rd. and you all must exept that he also has deserved it.
Marchante riding very fast at the first half..he is superb form..what he's planning to take that 1'47 back fo Evans..dont think so..but when he crosses finish line.He is fastest man today..but wait we have still Evans to wait.
Here he comes..his end section is absolutly briliant..he takes stage win. he is 3sec. faster then Marchante..

After that season I take a little break..then I starting to look 2008 db with all tranfers at the moment..and yes new season.
This tranfers market has been grazy end of this season.. Klöden has changed 3 times a team..Evans who promised to be with me next year..has done some secret deal with in Vuelta and now all talking that he has moved to Caisse..at least I decided to after leaving Predictor let them decent team..got Millar..and almost Popo to help Evans.. now i dont have Evans..
Anyway..new db..realism..and after break back in busines.
Db. I dont hire my plans to talk with about 2008 db..
Astana didnt wanted me to be theyr manager..
Milram wanted me to hire..
And again..there is to much strange tranfers..so i prefer start new..fresh..realism start.
But at first I have to finish this season. |

yeah, I have the same problem, I most of the time don't play more than one season because the transfers are so unrealistic

In my current Slipstream game Dave Zabriskie joined Saunier Duval and Tommy D went to Columbia es pasion Vande Velde stayed at CSC.
I got farrar, millar, Lowe, Saul and Levi! However a few days before the Tour of California Levi got hit by a car and shattered his kneecap So he missed California and Georgia and now might have issues getting into shap for the tour, which i got a wildcard for.
CYA logic at work

Stage 21
Madrid-Madrid
Vuelta last stage..We probably dont have any changes at the GC standings. We have also shure about best climber status ..that will be Garate..but we should get sprinters fight..Ventoso and Bettini should have chanches to take point jersey away for Rodriquez.
Has usual at the last stages at the grand tours..breakaway rider's have chanches to take a stage win ..today we have up there Albasini, Marichal, Gorbas, Dessel, Moreno.
Bad lauck for Albasini who has shown great form at the day..and has rised main stage favorite today. He cant passed..that sharp corner..having light contact with Gorbas and falls.
This is Cyril Dessel who wins the stage..great one after he's realy bad season...but main event is still a head..who will get finaly points jersey..
Doesnt look good..Rodriquez looks so tyred at tour last stage..11 riders at peloton looks stronger then Fred today..bettini is up there also Ventoso. Come on Fred keep it together..now we have to wait just final results.
Evans finishes has double grand tour winner..(but dont forget caisse as offered him record contract..and there is also rumors thjat Evans has also signed with the Spanish team).
Rodriquez can keep he's jersey rhat was close..4 points to Ventoso and 8 to Bettini

They wanted me to go with begium national team..has I am Predictor-Lotto manager..they just give me riders with work to (to avoid situation..when all belgium team members are from Predictor)..Leif Hoste, Maxime Monfort, Gilbert, Axel Merckx, Verbrughe..who will be leader..there is lot pf climbing I let race himself decide who will be team captain. After few climbs..seems like Maxime Monfort will be belgium team leader.
Many favorites cant follow high speed at the group I am a little surprised that strong riders like Evans, Leipheimer , Popo, Bettini etc. drops off at the main group..Most active team are Spain and Italy..who has chooses grazy tempo..to test riders..Monfort has difficulty but he is still in it.. Merckx also.
55km. they started to cach early breakaway group when Kasahh team leader Kasechkin atacks Di Luca follows...Monfort has no power left to counter he stays in main group and will hope that this move was to early.
ITT 3rd. Dekker wants more medals he atacks..and great moment for home crowd Jens Voigt follows.
Voigt looks strong today..Dekker cant follow him..and now Voigt closing to Di Luca -Kasechkin duo.
Pena is only rider who can accept..Kasechkin tempo..but where is Voigt he he comes..he caches that trio now we have 4 riders at the front.
Seems like there is last chanche for Spanish team ...Cobo Acebo atacks and starting he's solo chase
Home race most give Voigt some extra boost he atacks and kasechkin with Pena is first who cant follow..Di Luca hanging on?..no he drops also.
Great day for germany..in home race german rider Voigt wins one the most prestige title..Di Luca -silver .
Cobo just managed to keep he's third place..Monfort 5th. not so bad..belgium cycling federation demanded medal..but what I can say. No luck today.

so, what happens now? are you going to stay with predictor? saw that milram was interested in you. if you lose cadel evans the team will lose the "best GC" in the world (in the game, maybe irl too). how are you going to do? when do you start your new season, and isn´t the giro d lombardia left? |
