I wonder how people will justify the 9 start places for Great-Britain, Luxembourg and Norway after today. |

Norway had 4 riders into the last lap. That is more than you think they should have at all. If the profile had been like, hmm, Madrid, Hushovd and Boasson Hagen would both been really dangerous in the end, and would absolutely have deserved the helpers.

No, it starts in Melbourne, travels 72km to Geelong (Cadels hometown) and then has some laps around Geelong to make up the 250km.

I would guess the European TV channels will send it at Sunday morning, and no medias will release news about it.

As I just said in a MSN convo, I find it quite weird that a (mainly) European sport's "final", watched by Europeans, is being arranged at a time of the day where pretty much no one can/will watch it. |

Or it's played live, but then the whole race is broadcast "as live" the next morning.

Who cares, that;s in 1 year...
Cycling season almost over now, only Lombardy to look forward to. I dont find Paris Tours interesting.
Another year passed so fast! |

Sort of flawed in that an Aussie won today, but I agree its odd they didnt organise it a little later.

Great win from Evans. Picked the perfect moment and took his chance. Bizarre not to see him celebrating as he crossed the line though.
